Thanks for the highlights, got to be honest we are very slow and bad in defense...our line is just a big mess and i feel bad for arminia because they had so many opportunities to score at least 4,i think we where just too lucky today plain and simple !
Our defense just cant get it together, they are slow and very weak in filling the right spaces in the right time...any team can easily take advantage of this line:mad:

Injury Olli, but definitive the right way. He needs match praxis.

Olli is supposed to be out for "a few weeks". :( Wtf did he play with the amateurs??? Wasn't he fit and wanted to get some match practice?

Marin the match winner
Two fine goals by Marko Marin helped Borussia to a vital 2-0 win in Bielefeld, a result that sees them climb to 14th in the Bundesliga table.

i feel bad for arminia because they had so many opportunities to score at least 4,i think we where just too lucky today plain and simple !
I don't feel bad for them (especially, since their idiotic fans attacked their players and chanted "Frontzeck raus" after the game). Nearby we missed a lot of top chances in many games as well ... and who felt bed for us?
Btw: According to "kicker", we had more scoring opportunities after the interval ... and the total relation of 8:6 chances and 8:7 corner kicks for them isn't that clear as you may think.

Of course we know that the defence is our weak point ... but please don't forget how many important players we had to replace! Levels & the debutant Dorda were a little bit nervous at the beginning, but did a good job especially after the interval (the same with Aberman & Bradley, who improved a lot in the 2nd half)!
Important are the 3 points (thanx to Marin's and Gospodarek's brilliance) ... so this time I really don't care about how we got them!
how did Alberman play?
A pretty bad 1st half (the same with Bradley), but absolutely solid after the interval.

Meyer: Marin Could Become Gladbach Great
Marko was absolutely brilliant (after he'd been the best player against Franfurt, too) and got rated with a "1" from "Kicker". Congrats!
Btw: What a good decision from Hans Meyer not to replace him by Matmour in the 1st half (when there was the danger of getting a yellow/red). ;)

"Er war sicher ganz stark. Aber er sollte eigentlich raus, hat die Klappe nicht gehalten und war hochgradig rotgefährdet", erklärte Meyer. Erst ein Versprechen rettete den quirligen, aber zunächst ungestümen Kunstschützen vor der Auswechslung.
"Er kam zu mir und sagte: 'Herr Meyer, ich werde heute nicht fliegen. Ich halte meine Schnauze und foule auch nicht mehr'", berichtete der Trainer.
:D
Btw: No wonder the fans chanted "Marko Marin, Marko Marin" after the 2:0. :-)

The commentator on Kicker's Livescores was even recommending that very thing late in the first half. Good thin Marin cooled down and played such a good second half. Lets hope we can keep him long term.

Olli is supposed to be out for "a few weeks". :( Wtf did he play with the amateurs??? Wasn't he fit and wanted to get some match practice?
Olli himself asked Meyer to play with them. Meyer said he would never ask a player like Neuville to play in the reserve team, but Olli wanted to play and show he is fit and could be important for the team. Nice character, but a bad decision in the end...

Did you consider subscribing to Fohlen TV? They do not show the matches live, but every game an hour or two afterwards, highlights and some other stuff. 5€ a month, 14€ for 3 months, 26 for 6 months, 50 a year. I think it is ok; nice thing to watch a game again relaxed on tv when I am back from the stadium, or if I had other things to do during away games. You can watch every match of the Hinrunde, if you spend 5€ and try it out now.

I know that he asked Meyer to play in the reserve team ... but still don't understand why! So he really had the feeling to lack some fitness?
Well, it was the wrong decision in the end ... and now we can only pray that Friend & Colautti will hopefully stay fit until the winter break.
and who felt bed for us?
OMG, of course I meant "bad" and not "bed". :-))

At the moment there's no time for such things, Naz. ;) Michael should better retire on his own from that "Proleten-Verein"...
I hope all this attention to marko marin would not make him a target for fat rich clubs..
Unfortunately you can forget that hope. Well, we can't avoid it ... so let's wait up what happens. Important is to keep the league this season!
If he leaves (I'd prefer an abroad club like Liverpool, Juve or Barca), we'll hopefully get a nice transfer fee for him.
