Look we to the goals
0:1 billiard goal, no errors, bad luck, maybe a good goalkepper had is safe
0:2 many errors
Then one goal for us, but the assistant referee shaw it rong
The fight between Gohouri and Adler can you see like the referee or that Adler had have no way to play the ball - then pen and red card
0:3 clearly offside
1:3
Along our goal und the offside goal the normel result is 2:2 without this two
cost of wrong decisions
Without Adler how would be the result ? Which way had the game go by a 1:2 - our goal - or 2:2 with pen go in the first halftime ?
Next time please a little bit more poetic justice, coolness by shot on goal and we will win.
@ HG
puggy will make a foto for you.
It wasn't a bad game, even the statistics shows that, but when it comes to the finish we missed a lot of opportunities and that's a shame. We really have problems with counter attacks. Almost every counter attack of the opponent gives me a heart-attack...I have no confidence in the D-line...

Eberl emphasises positives
With the final game of 2008 scheduled for this Friday in Dortmund, Borussia do not have much time to recover from the 3-1 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.

Btw: After having seen the highlights of the game, I'm still very mad at Roberto Colautti, Rob Friend and Steve Gohouri!
Roberto & Rob should be punished with some extra training for those two 100% chances they missed :-) ... and Steve should play in attack hence, since his tactical behaviour is simply a joke for a CB (well, the 0:1 scene was rather unlucky, but his refusal to follow Kiessling after his bad passing before the 0:2, is unforgivable)!

Do you agree with all ratings? I can't judge them as I only saw the "Sportschau" highlights once again.
It's great to see that our youngsters obviously played that well! Congrats to Tony for another good performance and his 1st BL goal! :)

Is the friendly really already next Sunday? Well, then we'll probably see 2 tired teams on the pitch ;) ... unless both managers are going to field their reserve players.
PS: Don't forget to take some nice pics. :-)

Btw: Daems' suspension (5th yellow) will surely be a huge handicap for Friday night ... but there's at least 1 good news:

No, I don't, they are too bad and inconsistent, ignoring tactic details.
Compared with Leverkusen:
R. Adler (1,5) - Castro (4), M. Friedrich (4), Henrique (3,5), Kadlec (3) - Rolfes (4) - Barnetta (3,5), Renato Augusto (3), Dum (2,5) - Helmes (3), Kießling (1)
It was a game on eye-level, the efficiency in the boxes made the difference. Kicker usually weighs winning very high; the winners always get much better ratings, completely ignoring the game and the level of the game. Well, even following kicker's own standards: The third goal was clearly offside, and Gohouris header could have been behind the line -> same rating for both teams, bad rating for the referee.
Our team played well, had a lot of scoring opportunities, just didn't make it - what do you get from this? Bad ratings for our forwards, because they did not score when they had a lot of chances, and good ratings for the Bayer defense, because we didn't score, though we had a lot of chances? The back line of Bayer can't get a better rating than 80% of our players, when they allowed 8 open shots on the goal. And so on... you can lift it by 0.5 to 1.0 in average, it was much better than many other games.
What the writer did not see, because kicker simply lacks the competence to read a game:
Labbadia had a clear idea of our weaknesses, and how to exploit them. Every time we won the ball in the defense Bayer pushed back, concentrated on our left flank and the center and opened a lot of space for Levels. He always got the ball, ran forward, and... wasn't able to do anything useful, typically lost the ball anyhow. They wanted Levels to push forward, because they did not identify him as a threat. When Leverkusen got the ball, Kießling and Helmes both ran to our right flank and waited for the ball between Levels and Gohouri to start the counter attack, what was very effective.
Ok, kicker rating for Levels: 3.5, best player but Marin and Jantschke, probably because the writer saw him pushing forward a lot. In fact a clear sign that the writer is tactically completely incompetent, and did not understand what was going on. In my eyes Levels showed that Labbadia's idea was correct, he was not involved in a single dangerous scene in the Bayer box, but every long ball to Bayer's left wing was a real threat for us. Ridiculous, that a player who was (together with his neighbor Gohouri) successfully identified as a weakness by the opposing coach who took advantage of the constellation Gohouri/Levels receives the third best rating. And even more ridiculous, that this is the leading german "Fachmagazin".

Lothar Matthäus, head coach of Maccabi Netanya said: We are keen that this game will be a showcase for everything that is positive about football in Israel and international sporting relations. Borussia Mönchengladbach is a legendary team and the history of partnership between the club and Israel dates as far back as the 1960s. It will be a joy to welcome such a prestigious club to Israel and our hope is that thousands of people will share that joy with us.

The name of the team that became part of the current Greuther Fuerth had to be up there too.

Well, basically I agree with you that Levels is our weak point (HM obviously had to bring him again, since Gohouri & Ndjeng are even worse as RB's) ... but it seems that "Torfabrik" didn't see him that bad either (they rated him with a 3.5 as well):
http://torfabrik.de/profis/borussia/datum/2008/12/09/besser-aber-lange-noch-nicht-gut.html
Pretty strange in my eyes that Marin was rated only with 3.0 by TF (compared to 1.5 by "Kicker").
