Tell you the truth..i dont know about the details of this contract.. but all i can say is..his one of the few players at the moment that actually has some impact on the game and plays solid football!

Sell him and bring in who?? and here we go on again trying new players and experimenting with fire.. so far most new players we have hired seem useless for GLADBACH and they have only decorated our sub-bench, i guess our only way of survivng is to get lucky and find some rich sponsor or more investors..so we can keep our core of quality players...or find a genius scout that has a magic touch and can find and hunt down young talented cheap un-kown players..which can play at bundesliga level...regardless am used to this trend in gladbach..what can do right??:rolleyes:

He is one of the few all-round technical players we have..with great quality..just like MARIN,type of player

Steve might have certain qualities, but he's surely no technician ... nearby he's a permanent security risk for our defense (look at the silly penalty against Bayern and his blackouts against Schalke & Cottbus).

Don't forget that our youth department is among the better ones in the Bundesliga (Effenberg, Pflipsen, Deisler, Jansen, Marin, Polanski, Compper, Schlaudraff, Jantschke etc.) ... so I don't think we are damned to invest that much in other players like a few BL clubs.

Unfortunately I have a bad feeling after tonight's away win from my local team Greuther Fürth in Mainz ... since Fürth is the same for Mainz what Leverkusen is for BMG.

Let's hope I'll be wrong with my superstition...

No need to have a bad feeling,the worse has happened to us already..so from here on..its only going to get better one way or another!

About steve G. well his not as technical and a magician as marin..but his strong and physical and speedy...and has clear ability to score goals at any moment and time during a game and play in all areas of the pitch..his among our best players and his performance makes a differnce in the out-come of a game!

I agree his a bit scary when it cmes to PKs in the box..but thats something that can be cleared by proper coaching:rolleyes:

Uwe i have tried to explain this many times,i understand we are not as strong and wealthy as we used to be..and i agree our youth prog is great..but untill the day that we cant hold on to these players long enough to get some long-term results & GLADBACH back on his feet..this ugly cycle will continue..as i said am not sure how its going to happen but thats the only way to bring stability back to borussia park!

In my eyes he is the tactically most stupid player we have, all in all not better than Kleine or Callsen-Bracker; everyone on the same level. We need a really good center-back, no matter whichof these is the second one; so we could use a big transfer fee for Gohouri to really improve the squad. He is more than replaceable in my eyes, and produces more chaos than structure in our lines.

Well in terms of tactics...its more about our coaching,but in general i agree we have once again made alot of wrong decisions with our players..and perhaps CZ and JL at the time of promotion where just to much hopeful and positive about this team and decided to keep it low-key with the transfer market..yes we still lack a real general in the back field..and most of our D-line and M-field sucks..but anyway thank god Meyer is here and if he cant get it back on track nobody can...

Lets focus on Bayer 04,I think we are going to win this game!:p

I was so happy to see colautti in the line-up from get go,something i have always thought would help us up-front..but then we give up goals like candy...we just make it sooooooo friggin easy for every team to score...its really getting painful to watch these boys play every week!

Unfortunately I can't see the game ... but from what I've read, we dominated the game and created a few good scoring opportunities. But well, it's typical in our situation to miss them once again ... and run into 2 counter-attacks then (well, I knew this would happen if we play offensively ... knowing about the slowness of our defenders and Gohouri's blackouts). :rolleyes:

Well, we're playing with 2 strikers (many naive fans thought this would be our saviour) today ... and the outcome is still the same. Simply depressing! :(
