Reading Garry's comments, I take it it was one of these reasons or a combination of them:

a) The defense fell apart

b) Bad coaching

c) a and b

d) All Beda's fault

;) :D
It is, in fact, ALL OF THE ABOVE.

If I were Kurz I would burn a DVD for these guys to watch for the next week. Piss poor. They got cocky and let the team back in. Poor coaching decisions and it was over. I mean, Bender and Johnson were two of your BEST players and you take them out instead of Beda and Torben who were showing signs of leaving their asses on the pitch.

But who am I?

Another away game, but hey, we play better away then at home. Yes, Aachen is strong at home, but I think Kurz put a boot up their ass this week so I expect much better from them. Sven is out due to accumulated cards, so Ledgerwood in his place. This means Beda will have to stop sucking or else his ass is replaced by Baumgartlinger. My tipp, 1-1.

I recall before this last stretch of 3 matches, I requested 7 points. Granted, the first match did not go exactly according to my plan. That said, I will call for a 1:1 1860 victory.

I have not seen the games (some highlights here and there) but is Beda really a "holding" midfielder? Wasn't he just on the back line before this season? So, I guess I am asking that if he is sucking is part of the problem being out of position?

I think the question should be, "Does he really suck as badly as LoewenBoy makes him out to suck?" LOL!! :D ;)

Does anyone else find it disturbing when the players are walking out with high school age kids for the introductions. Last week some team had a kid who was actually bigger than the player. Today I think they have a few high school girls. it doesn't look cute.

LOL....actually he was moved out of central defense because he was one of the major reasons we were getting snuck in the back so often in the first few games. He is NO central defender. Guess that is why FCK got rid of him. Its not that he is making major mistakes like Berhalter was a few years back. Its that he is literally NO WHERE to be found. Its like we are playing with 10 men. I would rather have Danny Schawrz on the field than him. He just does nothing. At least Schwarz falls down in front of opposing players.;)

So you are asking if it looks "better" that grown men are walking out with teenagers as opposed to elementary school kids?:D

I would prefer hotties over 18, but we see what 1860 considers to be "hotties" with their Hasen of the Rasen campaign....urgh.

If they were all hotties, that would be fine. Dressed appropriately with shorts, bare abs, and looking sexy. But high school boys and girls look kind of oddly weird holding hands with men, especially the boys.

okay I won't mention what is going on - of course i'm sort of doing my on Konference feed, switching back and forth.

Fricking robbery. Beda's goal whistled for passive offsides (bull$hit) and Schaeffler mugged in the 81st not called a PK. Then give up 0-2 in the 85th. BS night!

The officiating left something to be desired, for sure.

I agree. But so did the 1860 finishing.

Except for Beda's goal.......

Too true. Johnon had one he should have buried in the first half and didn't.

Well, there is still a chance for 1860 to take 4 points from the final 3 matches next week... Finishing the first half with a win would be the best possible scenario...

I am sure there will be plenty of good seats available when I come to visit in March. LOL

Garry, do you truly prefer if we not discuss the match here as it is going on??

I know you see it afterwards, so I stopped commenting on what is going on during the matches.

What are you talking about dude??

Even when you wrote that, 1860 only had one match left before the winter break. This coming Sunday against FCN.

Anyhow, I think this FCN match coming up on Sunday will be HUGE in estimating how far this 1860 team can go.

Even though it will be huge for them to get Bierofka back after the break, I still believe how they go into the break will be important.

I'm anxious to see how FCN does tonight at home against Rostock.

Again, there usually are. Against FSV Frankfurt, I'm certain there will be. FSV Frankfurt has a hard time drawing 10,000 to their home matches.
