But if I can make it, I'd be happy to meet you for the match and help out.
I will warn you in advance, Footy is VERY vocal about his football.:D:cool:

I translated the listing to English:

The Allianz Arena is a good healing place for FC Augsburg.
Augsburg has won 3-0 in each of their last two visits to the Allianz Arena!
The last match at 1860 in Feburary was Michael Thurk’s first match in the FC Augusburg uniform. And in the end, he posted a two-goal match.
FC Augsburg got their only away victory of the season to this point in Oberbayern. They won 2-1 in Ingolstadt on match day 9.
In their last seven 2nd Bundesliga matches, 1860 has only given up a total of three goals. But they’ve all been at home.
1860 has only scored one goal total in their last three matches.
Augsburg has drawn their last three consecutive matches and are unbeaten in their last five matches, the longest current unbeaten streak in the 2nd Bundesliga.
Augsburg is one of three teams who has only kept one clean sheet this season.
1860 has the best defense in the league with just 10 goals allowed.
No wonder. Philipp Tschauner stops 75% of the shots on his goal. Tops in the league among regular goalkeepers.
Timo Gebhardt is second in the league in winning battles for the ball. The 1860 player has won 41% of his 217 battles for the ball.

I can't commit to going to that match. I don't know where I'll be or what I'll be doing around that time.
But if I can make it, I'd be happy to meet you for the match and help out.
That would be great. Keep me in the loop on that!

That's why I said that 1860 & Fürth aren't consistent enough to play for promotion this season.
Somehow you simply can't get any derby points against Augsburg at AA...

Just keep posting here about it and it shouldn't be a problem.

Back then, it wasn't "weird" to see them play on astroturf because that's what we had.
And watching the Cosmos in NASL was like watching "the big four" in the Premiership against the bottom of the third league.
They were that far above in terms of play when they were on their game.

watching the guys i mentioned play must have been like watching footballers walking on clouds or something...they must have been [i]that[i/] smooth. Did you (or loweneboy) ever see them live?

I saw them plenty. I lived in Philadelphia, but luckily for me, one of my cousins with a job and a car was interested too and he and I drove up to Giants Stadium quite often to see the Cosmos play.
But I've now seen more of 1860 at the Allianz Arena! LOL!! :D

That has nothing to do with anything. I like good football. When I can go to see Bayern, I do.
1860 is just much more accessible and yes, cheaper.
The most expensive seats at an 1860 match would put you in the upper deck at Bayern matches.
If those tickets were even available.

fair enough
bayern's football is not my cup of tea though, so unless it's a big game or a big CL game where importance takes precedence i wouldnt go watch them

That's your perogative. As I said, I enjoy good football and like them or not, Bayern is usually good for a damned good game of football.
I can't say the same for 1860. But they are there, I can get there and get home in a reasonable amount of time and I like the club.
So it works.
2nd Austrian League football is closer to me, but I choose what I have in Germany and the only good football within reasonable distance is Munich.
If that means going to see Bayern, I'll do it.
And to be honest, I mostly saw Bayern in the UEFA Cup last season.
Their Bundesliga matches were better.
