Below is a photo of the Bild.de Projected Lineups For HSV v. 1860. As you will see, it is a bit different than the one LoewenBoy posted earlier. That's not saying one is right and one is wrong. We'll know when Kurz gives his official lineup.
I like this one better as it puts Aigner and Lars in a defensive role which I fell better about. We all know Schwarz has a hell of a time covering midfield....plus he is hardly in match shape.

I don't mind you posting. I will have the ticker on anyway.

Well, it's really more of a HSV article.

Bild.de: HSV With Ivica Olic And Mladen Petric Against 1860

Mladen Petric (top) and Ivica Olic

Earlier today, the newly laid pitch at the HSH Nordbank Arena in Hamburg was given another small warming session to be ready for HSV’s German Cup match against 1860 München at 7PM tonight.

In this German Cup Round of 16 contest, HSV coach Martin Jol can select from nearly a full roster. Only long-term injury Alex Silva is unavailable and is not even in Hamburg. The Brazilian is expected back in Germany on Thursday.

Martin Jol says of Silva: “He cannot fly sooner. The surgery was a bit more complicated than first thought. They found he suffered a double tear. Naturally, Alex Silva will miss Friday’s match with Bayern.

Others will have to do the job against “Die Löwen” (The Lions). Jol, who allowed his players to stay at home the night before home matches is confident. “I am always optimistic. We are well-prepared and we are playing at home against a second division team. If we keep our form, we will advance.”

The coach will trust a team of proven personnel. A reason for this is lack of alternatives. Guy Demel should be at right back, moving Jerome Boateng to the bench. Paolo Guerrero will have to get used to a substitute’s role again as Mladen Petric and Ivica Olic are first choice at striker.

Wow, that's some smug-a$$ $hit from him. Even if he believes it, good coaches usually are a bit more diplomatic than to say that in the media. Gives him no where to run if they lose.

I predict 2-1 for HSV in extra time, but would not put it past '60 that, if all starters are healthy and play well, that they could pull it out.

A Sechzig win over HSV would be a nice way to start the spring...

Tschauner patzer, referee error in not seeing a VERY obvious offsides call and Olic scores to make it 1-0. Frigg'n BS.

Garry, I think you're being a bit too sensitive there. Jol didn't say WE WILL WIN period. He said IF we keep our form, we will advance.

I don't care who you're a fan of, if HSV is on their game, yes, they SHOULD advance.

We know anything can happen in football and I think Jol covered that when he said IF we keep our form.

He didn't anything like they just had to show up to win, yet that seems to be how you took his words.

And as I typed that, a huge mistake from Tschauner on a pass out of his area just gave HSV a 1-0 lead. The play looked like it should have been offside, but the refs didn't call it. I think they thought Gregg made a bad back pass.

Tschauner made a horrible pass toward Gregg that Gregg tried to stretch as far as he could to play back to Tschauner, but Trochowski tapped if toward Olic, who was in an offside position. Again, I think the refs thought Gregg made the contact with the ball.

Olic took the pass just outside the area, rounded what should have been a f#cking throughly embarrassed Tschauner and put the ball past Beda, who did try to cover the open goal to give HSV the lead.

Guess Tschauner is back to his old ways. That was a horrible f#cking play!

Garry, there was nothing obvious about that call. They had to put it in super-slo-mo here for you to be able to tell that Gregg didn't play that ball back.

Bull!!! Again it goes to proper positioning of the ref. He is clearly trailing play by 15+ meters when he SHOULD be at an angle to the play to where the play is between him and his assistant, through his line of sight.

Also, they did not HAVE to put it in super slo mo to show it, the did it to prove the point. Anyone watching it from normal screen can see Berhalter played the man and not the ball in the angle he was coming from. Had he actually PLAYED the ball it would have gone horizontal across the field, NOT straight back to the keeper.

No, it was a friggn's clear-ass case of a blown call.

51st Minute: Tschauner stones Petric one-on-one.

53rd minute: Aigner booked for crashing into Rost on a play that was already whistled out of bounds.

That's right, because I am not looking at it from the point of view of a fan, Keith. I am looking at it from the point of view of a person who has refereed at the State level since 1982 and someone who knows damn well how these guys are trained, where they are supposed to be and what they are supposed to look for. So don't patronize me with "whatever you say" like I am some peon who is expressing a statement of emotion. I am stating a freak'n fact!! The guy blew it!! He was out of position and blew the call. I'll even bet he knows he blew it. Hell, Ian (home from school) saw it and said "he's off his diagonal". So, yes, it was obvious and yes, it is whatever I say.

Really? Then why so emotional? It's not like this is one of our great arguments. I didn't use one exclamation point.

I simply wrote what I saw and I have a pretty good view on my LCD TV screen here.

I simply agree to disagree. I'm not going to argue with you on this.

I'm obviously unqualified to speak on what I saw.

67th minute: HSV's Petric and Jarolim go double-flopping in the Sechzig area. Neither gets the penalty call he's seeking.

I think Weiner should have booked them both.

1860 fighting well. As long as it is 1-0, they've got a shot.

Proof that the referee belw the call: The recent two horrid non-calls for PKs. Those were two clear fouls in the box for HSV that he did not give them. That is another mark of one of three things: 1) the ref is way over his head, 2) he is giving make up calls, or 3) he has his head up his ass today. My bet is #2.

Again, whatever you say. We're all here laughing at the flopping.

Well, except my upstairs neighbor, but he's the one HSV fan here.

I think he could have given Petric's, but Jarolim definitely flopped.

If 1860 shows this kind of fight in the 2. Liga, it will a nice 2nd half of the season.

And as I type that, Tschauner GIFTS Olic another goal!!

I think Garry's daughter stops that one! I know mine does!
