Hoping to find the test match today online somewhere.
Link (http://www.schalke04.de/news_details.html?&tx_ttnews[backPid]=1&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=13637&cHash=38d9d36aa8) to article on 04's website. Forgot Kurz played for them, perhaps he was the link to getting the friendly.
UPDATE==> Ticker, such that it is here (http://www.abendzeitung.de/sport/tsv_1860/81793). Game started noon central US.

19:10: That simply cannot be: Benny Lauth walks alone past Schalke keeper Neuer, but he cannot put the ball in. Immediately following the almost 0:1 Berhalter clears off the line [at the other end].

0-1 for 1860, Lauth makes up for previous error!!!!
ET: Final 2-2
Schalke came back twice from being down. The last was a 22m free kick which hit the upper far right leaving Tschauner no chance. By all account very, very well struck. Benjamin Lauth (27.) and Marvin Pourie (86.) scored for 1860. ...the latter being the kid that was just loaned to 1860 FROM Schalke. :D

If you've got Premiere, yes. If not, the highlights will be shown after the Stuttgart v. Bayern match on ZDF.
I've got Premiere, so I'll be watching it. :D

On the web the only thing I could find was this (http://www.asiaplatetv.com/football.php) for those unlucky enough NOT to have German TV. Its the Bayern/VfB match.
I have asked LoewenTV if they are going to have it or not but have not heard back.
Hey Keith, I think I figured out a way for me to watch German TV. I buy a slingbox and send to you. You hook it up and I can then log in and watch ANY german TV I want.:D:cool: Do you have cable or DSL?

On the DFB cup....both Bierofka and Lars Bender have said they are healthy to play. That's everyone!!!!
He's hoping we kick some serious HSV butt. We can use the extra $$$ for the next round!

Kurz trying to take the pressure off using the "david and goliath" scenario here. Lauth returning to Hamburg for the first time as a Loewe. Training which pitted 10v10 and looked like the starting 11 against the reserve 11 for the match.

You can't get Premiere in the Netherlands legally. A friend of mine has it, but I am not certian of how she does it.......
I believe she uses satellite and has a German bank account to pay her bill. But I'm just guessing there.
I think the Stuttgart v. Bayern match starts at 8:30 PM on ZDF. You can watch that one and catch the highlights afterwards.

Same way I had Skysports. You get a receiver in the UK, open a UK bank account and pay from that account. Take the receiver back to Germany, find the transponder and satellite corodinates info for your area, point the dish in that direction and PRESTO you have Skysports.
Now, you may want to FIRST make sure that you are able to get a clear shot at the satellite BEFORE you do all that.:D Know a guy who went to all that trouble only to find out that the geosyncrhonous point int he sky that had the transponder he needed was blocked by a rather large immovable object.....the local police station's antenna.

The 1860 website has been updated with the likely lin-ups for tomorrow. A few observations:
The fact that Beda is starting over Ghvinianidze tells me the latter is not at 100%. Beda better damn well learn how read an attack and mark a striker. I have seen little evidence from him that he understands central defense.
Odd that Danny Schwarz is starting, but with the need to move Beda to defense and Lars Bender clearly not 100%, I guess he is the next best thing. Honestly would rather see Torben in central defense or even Thorandt and Beda in defensive mid.
Hopefully Biero and Aigner on the wings will cause problems.
Roesler will be key. He MUST have a better game than Schaeffler has been having.
Lauth MUST also play well. He needs to be up AND back AND be dangerous.
Tschauner needs to play with confidence and avoid any "patzers" as he usually does. He MUST control his defense and make sure Berhalter and Beda are covering and Thorandt and Johnson are shutting down the flanks.
Bender/Schwarz cannot allow the build up 30 meters out. HSV will kill us if we let them drive up to the 18 and camp.
HSV: 1 Rost - 20 Demel, 4 Reinhardt, 5 Mathijsen, 40 Aogo - 30 Benjamin, 2 Alex Silva - 14 Jarolim, 7 Jansen - 10 Petric, 11 Olic.
Bench: 12 Hesl, Wolf (beide Tor) - 9 Guerrero, 15 Trochowski, 19 Boateng, 21 Pitroipa, 27 Neves, 32 Ben-Hatira 35 Torun.
Not Available: 3 Atouba (Achilles teat), 22 Choupo-Moting (rehab training).
1860: 12 Tschauner - 16 Thorandt, 6 Beda, 5 Berhalter, 33 Johnson - 8 D. Schwarz, 17 S. Bender - 15 Aigner, 7 Bierofka - 11 Lauth, 10 Rösler.
Bench: 1 Hofmann (Tor) - 4 Hoffmann, 13 Jungwirth, 14 Holebas,18 Pourie, 19 Ghvinianidze, 20 Burkhard, 22 L. Bender, 26 Baumgartlinger, 27 Schäffler.
Not Available: 9 Di Salvo (Tendonitis in the knee), 21 Schroth (Paid vacation and sabbatical), 23 B. Schwarz (Rehab trainging), 25 Ledgerwood (Rehab after tendonitis in his knee), 29 Krauss (Starting for U23s).
Referees: Michael Weiner (Ottenstein); Assistants: Thomas Frank (Hannover), Carsten Kadach (Suderburg); 4th Official: Malte Dittrich (Bremen).

I thought Tschauner has played well this season (going by your and Kickers ratings and comments). Are the "patzers" a fresh recurrence or are you projecting from last year?
Is Petric going to play for HSV?
Anyway, I wish I could see this one--I think I will be subscribing to Loewen TV soon.

Let's just say this year he has limited his patzers more than before. You can almost see him resisting the urge to go do something stupid; almost like a young dog who KNOWS he's not supposed to chew on the sofa but he cannot resist walking by and licking it and taking a quick naw.:D
Is Petric going to play for HSV?
Ja, he will play.

Not sure it will be on LoewenTV, but I highly suggest you get it if you like watching th league matches. They are great quality and you can literally watch any game, any time. Well worth the cost and it helps the club.:)

Check www.myp2p.eu between 15 and 30 minutes before kickoff. Click on the "Live Sports" tab at the top of the page.
If you don't already use a program such as Sopcast or TVAnts, you'll probably have to download one to view the match if they have it.
If I didn't tell you anything you don't already know, I apologize. If this is new info, I hope it helps!!

LMAO!! That is funnier than hell!!
I had Sky, but I didn't open a British bank account. I had one of my friends use his and I just transferred the money to him every month.
Back then, I had Sky and Premiere and my friends from the Erlangen/Nuernberg area would travel that near 100KM out to my place in the middle of nowhere (Vilseck) to watch anything that came on! LOL!!

Below is a photo of the Bild.de Projected Lineups For HSV v. 1860.
As you will see, it is a bit different than the one LoewenBoy posted earlier. That's not saying one is right and one is wrong. We'll know when Kurz gives his official lineup.
BTW, will anyone mind if I post messages during the match? I think I might be able to.
