Hey, did you or Eddie ever get the CD's with the 1860 songs I sent. Sent them back in September.

I certainly did, thanks so much! A track list would have helped since I have no clue how to list them for iPod purposes! :p

Again, thank you!

Sorry Garry, got the cd. I forgot to check it out with all the hectic stuff over here.

Now I'm on the case to find it again and play it.

Sorry to cut in but I'm just saying hi, being a fellow Sechzig supporter this seems the best place to introduce myself I can't post new threads for a reason:confused:

What a weird season in Germany this year Hoff in first, FCK making a comeback, but ugh were still the same old :( it's been a long 5 years for me.

Welcome!!!! I think you have to reply to a few threads before you can post a new thread, but what do I know. The German boards have some great mods (Dead Fingers, The Old Lady Hertha), as well as some mods who lurk here as well (IASocFan, BayernWake, Buffalo Solider and many, many others).

Dude, don't get me started. I am already preparing myself for the inevitable 4-6 game losing streak we seem to pull out of our bums in the reuckrunde. I am hoping like all heck that Sechzig can maintain a nice, steady run and build to a top 5 finish. Getting Aigner and Roesler seem a step in the right direction, though losing Gebhart (from a Mannschaft position) was a step back. Overall though Reuter has the club moving slowly in the right direction....though the German boards would have you believe he is Hilter reincarnate.

That's why I usually ignore most 1860 fans here in Germany.....

Too many just don't have a clue.

Wonder how Kurz plans to make time for Rösler and Aigner in midfield.

Or is Aigner going to be a benchwarmer? :D

Roesler for Gebhart, and he will likely start first game of the season unless Lars Bender is in full form....which I doubt. He risks nothing putting Roesler there that fast:

As BMG player he is arguably in game form.
He is a well experienced player.
He is not recovering from any injury.
There is no one else with any greater "team" experience sitting on the bench who can do better.
Aigner, on the other hand, I think will sit for a few games and get Joker time....more than likely for Johnson or Sven Bender. No need to sit either of them since they have been producing big time. I think the only time in the near future Aigner sees time above those two is if Johnson needs to be pulled back to defense to cover one of the wing slots until Benny S. is fully back in shape. Since Benny is still a "?" this training period, perhaps Aigner gets time sooner than expected.

1860 began their training camp in Tenerife today (pic here (http://www.tsv1860.de/de/popup/bildergalerie.php?f=ZGUveG1sL2dhbGxlcmllcy8yMDA4L2JpbGRlcmdhbGVyaWVfMjAwOS0wMS0wOV90bF90YWcxLnhtbA%3D%3D&k=825c1201398d1c12302bf3571cb228c0)).

"Where is Tenerife," you say? Well, its here (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=tenerife&ie=UTF8&split=0&ll=28.130128,-17.41333&spn=5.888824,11.601563&t=h&z=7&iwloc=addr)...in lovely Canary Islands. Nice digs if you can get it.

No he isn't. He hadn't played for Gladbach since the 5th match day.

He is a well experienced player.

Agreed.

He is not recovering from any injury.

Agreed. He's very well rested. :D

Genau!!!

If Aigner impresses, which actually could happen, there's always the option of playing Rösler up front with Lauth....... ;)

That's Reuter ans Roesler. 1860 does this every year with the new arrivals. Whomever is their photo guy gets off on doing layouts with the new guys. I would be on the beach with my MightyZoom instead, but that's me.

New rumor perhaps confirmed....a new face was seen in Tenerife today. Getting more info on who.

Yeah, that's the text I got too....just did not have time to post it. Have a friend who took advantage of the club's vacation package for fans to go to Tenerife. Lucky dog.

according to the 1860 website he is on loan for two years with an option for 04 to pull him back at the end of each season.

You all recall Herr Doktor Ziffzer right? He was the financial officer who was fired by 1860 last spring after he spoke his mind in a rather infamous press conference when he stated that the 1860 presidium (aka, the club's advisor board) "stunk like a fish from the head down (http://www.eyep.tv/index.php?id=75&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=1919&cHash=572a7354f1)". Then president von Linde, who 5 days later resigned along with 2/3 of the presidium, fired him the very next day; leaving Stefan Reuter as both club manager AND financial officer.

Well, the civil hearing (http://www.eyep.tv/index.php?id=75&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=1921&cHash=259cc50366) regarding this little fracus begins today. While I fully believe Ziffzer is in the right here, if he wins he will likely win a civil judgement against 1860. Now, rumor has it that all he wants to do is win the case and then will give any judgement BACK to 1860. His beef is against two people, still members of 1860 but no longer in management, not against the club. It is symboloic of the people who still weild power within the base of 1860's club movement. I see this as a shot across the bow of those people; the same people who are pushing the whole "Reuter Raus" and "Raus aus die Stadion" movemement. This powerbase is nothing more than a group of know-nothings who are knee-jerk reactionaries. I hope they get what is coming to them.

On a side note, it will be sunny and cool in Tenerife today with a high of 64F. Hey, that's what it will be in Dallas today so I guess I just saved myself airfare.:D Although, if this was on the beach waiting for me I think I would chance the money....
