Yeh, he's one of mine.

Just got a $7,000 bid with about an hour to go. I'll probably get around $10-15,000 for him if I am lucky.

What are you considering cheap and what are you looking at skill wise as a back up??? I got a goalie who just turned passable a few weeks ago that I'm considering selling not sure yet. We could always try to work out a trade or something.

Probably inadequate and under $10-20K, just to tide me over until my passable back up gets fit again.

How bad are you in need of said forward and how much funds do you have? I bouta rather decent skilled scorer very cheaply as a backup. I start him when he's a better option (form) and he has performed admirably for me. I'd back this up with stats but since the site is down........

Granted, I'd much rather buy a forward with good scoring skills and decent passing abilities. But, there are plenty of teams that would appreciate his services.

Some of us beggars can't be choosers yet.

well sometimes you take what you can get. I've been the type who wants a major area to be passable, but for my defenders, most who are inads, I've spent no more than 10k on one player.

I've bought a 17 inad who went to my bench, then made him a starter, figured out the training systems. went from inad to passable to solid and he is 19 now I believe.

I bought a 17 passabkle winger during the offseason for 2k as well.

Depends on what you are looking for and plus you can find some steals out there.

That's true, I've had longer to build my team. I tend to try to pick up players for the long haul though.
