A loan system would be great, but I think the reason they don't allow it is it would be abused by people. And those people who have "friends" that play would have an advantage. For instance, I could loan you Norbert if train PM and you could train him up, effectively letting me train more than 10 players.

I think it'd just be too hard to keep track of too. And like Chris said, there would be people who would abuse it. For instance, Chris has talked with GM-George a time or two at Wizards games. Well let's say that George has two outstanding or better midfielder players that he wants to keep and train, but let's say he trains scoring. George could loan them to Chris and Chris could train them, while having these outstanding players in division VI, I think it could be taken advantage of way too much. That is, unless you did it like trades and had GM's approve all loans.
