What exactly does this mean?

"on demand" means you start the video at espn360's site when you want to. The games on espn360.com stay available for several days to watch at your convenience. Example: right now I can go to espn360.com and watch the New England - Chicago MLS Playoff game by simply going to "REPLAY" and selecting that game. I see under "Replay/Soccer" Wednesday's Serie-A matches listed, Russian league and pretty much all of the soccer matches shown during the last week.

I'm annoyed with Setanta and ESPN (2 or classic) showing the same matches (see Roma/Chelsea and Real/Juve). Why can't setanta just pick another match to show. If you get Setanta in the US I'm almost 100% sure you get ESPN2 or ESPN Classic. The overlap is a waste for the people that want to watch 5-6 matches each matchday.

Arsenal seem to be the smallest of the English teams in terms of ratings. United and Chelsea get the people in the seats. I still remember several years ago when it was like this, and ESPN used to show the best matches. Now it's the ManU Channel.

Yup. ESPN Deportes is available in the United States, and as such, they're trying to put "games of interest to Deportes" over there in order to increase viewership and distribution of the channel.
