La barra will play for yet another championship on saturday afternoon in flushing meadows park... La barra has been a winning side since its inception years ago.... Los Bolsos de NY the official fan club of nacional will go support the lads also a few of los bolsos play on la barra..... Why is this of any importance??? Because
A) La barra has more cups and is more glorious than any USL side in NY or even a certin Minor league soccer outfit out of NJ named after a drink.....
B) One day the guys from la barra will make up the bulk of BB latin supporters
C) its free to go see and alot more fun than paying to see the crooklyn knights or the condom brand named Rough riders (these clowns paved the way for the drink these clowns were named after a condom and the drink decided that a drink named team was more acceptable)
D) If la barra wins free wine beer and ASADO (Rio de la plata BBQ) for all to enjoy....FOR EVERY ONE!!! POUNDS AND POUNDS KILOS AND KILOS OF MEAT!!!!
E) If la barra loses i'm more than sure they will continue the tradition of beating up the rivals and chasing them off the grounds of flushing meadow park (la barra has been suspended from 4 different leagues because of their non fair play losing attitude) last time they lost they busted up the trophy and it was a scene out of a 70's kung fu flick with angry argies and uruguayans taking on angry korean cats....I have been to many finals for la barra and those that they have lost and after the scuffels they were all followed by a argie/uruguayan BBQ to calm the anger after the dust clears.....
La barra were even suspended by a radio station sponcered torney Radio Wado but resurfaced with a simple change of name and went as far as semi finals when la barra is suspended they usually participate with teams named after rock bands from argentina such alma fuerte and attake 77 but secretly its still la barra and all glories under various aliases are still glories of la barra!!!
this team already has a more fun history than red drink from MLS they actually have their hooligan pals not playing and suspended players and friends sing for the team at the finals like at stadiums in the river plate area.. the rivals that go dont expect the huge turn out and the pro la barra support in the bleecher stands... they even bring flags and flares....
but that is what free food does.....it makes every one come out!!!!
La barra came close to actually qualifiying for the US open cup a few years ago but thank god they lost cause after that round began the national elimination rounds and that would have ment anti doping tests many la barra players were NOT GOING TO PASS!!!!
