Just read this. Perfect! W00000h000000000000000000000!!!!!! Now if we can just avoid being relegated ... joking ... joking .... I'm just kidding .... I'm a kidder .... I kid .... and I have my fingers crossed just in case.

Seriously, I'm ecstatic, this is fantastic news. The 60k seater was a must IMHO. Given Levy's fiscal responsibility up till now, I am optimistic that it will not turn into toooooo big of a money pit, but these things inevitably have large cost overruns, so let's brace ourselves.

Here are a few stories on the good news:

After the new stadium is built, we will definitely be in the top 10 of the world richest clubs with the added revenue. We are now in the 11th or 12th position despite not having champions league football.

Better make it to the Lane while you still can.

Even though I know it's going to be, I hope it isn't a bowl.

What's the set completion date?

White Hart Collesium?

We'd be lucky. Get ready for a new name every few odd years:

Hey, it keeps things fresh, right?

im hoping the current sponsers want to take up the option, welcome to "the Mansion!"

also having been to the lane over recent years you can see all the closed down and boarded up buildings and which spurs have bought, it makes the area look ugly as hell but if we are going to knock them down and build a shiny new stadium its worth it.

try a site called www.worldstadiums.com (http://www.worldstadiums.com) its got every stadium you can think of, im hoping for something like the allianz arena personally.

I just saw Levy on Sky Sports News on FSC and he said they will be selling the naming rights to the new grounds.

Shame, that, but I suppose it's a necessary evil in today's game.

His thought exactly. I think he said something like the costs of stadium construction makes it an inevitability.

Is there any supporter campaign to donate money to have it keep the name WHL or any other non-corporate name? I'd donate.

I would to, but sometimes the corporate names lead to great nicknames for parks. I'm just trying to be optimistic about the whole deal.

Yes I would love that name too, but alas, it's probably a non-starter. The introduction of the Chinese characters into their logo is because since they signed the sponsorship deal for our shirts they have had a change in their customer base and are no longer focusing on our area. For this reason, I find it extremely unlikely that they would put forth the cash needed to secure the stadium naming rights ... but wouldn't it be soo cool.

I love the stadium site you linked above, I've been there before and I really like that site. There's also another one I used to visit called footballgrounds.co.uk or something like that (I really should google it first) that I really liked.

Yeah, but what if we get something sounding way too close to Emirates Stadium. That has no class. Mansion Park would be okay, but i doubt they'd go in for the stadium and the shirt. What if it's bought by HSBC or Tesco? That woudl suck.

Right. Okay Spurs fans, this is the time to make a stand and decide what we're going to call the new Stadium. I fully appreciate and understand the need for it to be sponsored, but for us, what are your thoughts on what we'll be calling it?

I'm thinking, 'The New Lane', but thats just off the top of my head.

It'd would've been 'Theatre of Nightmares' had Ramos stayed.
