Levante, why such interest in Valparaiso Zacatecas? I am guessing that you have family there. My mothers side of the family is from Jerez Zacatecas.
Interesting website. I enjoy learning as much as I can about Zacatecas and always like to see pictures of different places within the state.
I hope the frames are done away with during the remodeling of the site.

You hit the nail on the head.
It's also where I lived for several years as a kid. I've gone back every year except this one. I actually don't think I'll make it back which sucks.
Jerez is a pretty town, but really, all those southern Zacatecas towns are real gems to me.
Have you ever been to "El Valle?"

What got you up all the way to Ohio? Football? You must be a recent grad. I graduated from Wabash right before the NCAC was formed.

i graduated in may 2002, didn't play football there or anything, I just figured that was the right place for me. Looking back, it really was, I loved the school and really miss being in Chicago. I did fine with the pledge :) tho there were plenty of people that found their way around it.
Dancing's not banned there anymore, I'll never know why they fought so hard for the right to do it anyway, the place is full of stiff white kids who really only wanted to dance/club because there were rules against it.
It's funny, I'm not the kind of person who'll say "hey, let's go to a club!" but if some friends want do, I'd be down. Anyways, this one time, during Christmas break (the pledge isn't in effect between semesters) I was back home in Dallas, and one of my friends was in Waco because her brother was graduating from Baylor. She wanted to go to a club, since it wasn't against the rules then, so I said ok, and that I'd drive to Waco so me and her and one of her girlfriends could go, she was with her family and didn't have a car there.
We get to the club and the look on their face was priceless, it was probly the tamest club I'd ever been in, I mean it was Waco, Texas, and they looked at each other and looked at me like they had suddenly walked on to the surface of another planet.
Funny stuff.
