I don't get the opening angle at all.....
So, was that expression born of the unwavering self-belief that the tables would be turned again?
“No, I thought we were done,” Ferguson says, shaking his head as if he still cannot comprehend the situation. “I thought we were done.”
That was my exact thought when the camera panned to him before the kick. I remember wondering out loud at the time whether he was kicking himself for letting it go to pens without ever having played all his attacking cards and having a good go at Chelsea?
Interesting anyway.
I wonder why he is doing PR at this time. Maybe the times will be doing an exclusive for the inevitable biography?
Hmmm - doesn't look much like an interview with the Times to me....

Looks like the interview was exclusive with The Condé Nast and the Times adapted it - I am guessing this is his Biographer

Read this this morning.
Made me think quite deeply for a while about life after SAF. I don't fancy it one bit........

My favorite quote from the article
"....one-on-one interviews are as rare as silverware is for Manchester City...."

Great read. My favourite part was him extolling Charlton's virtues and letting Kenyon know in a classy way, that he wasn't missed and that he's a right twat.
