Well PSG finally got a Le Clasico victory against Marseille. Pretty impressive really. I think we will have a good year. I have to admit I am not one of these PSG fans who absolutely hates Marseille. In fact, while I am very happy we won today, I am very sad that Lyon are still on top of the league table. I keep telling my fellow PSG fans the real enemy is Lyon. OM-PSG is still the best French rivalry but what has ruined Ligue 1 for everyone is the sickening Lyon dominance which has to end in order for any of our French teams to get any credibility.

You mean the sickiness crapiness of the other teams for L1 to get credibility. ;)
Anyway, thanks PSG for keeping OM down!

happy that psg won, and can be a serious contender for the title if they keep it up. unhappy lyon is still at the top, i want anyone to win but not lyon, their dominance is pathetic

I understand your sentiments but I can think of some things that are a lot more pathetic such as PSG not having any money is pretty damn pathetic. Just PSG's ineptitude of not being able to keep up with OL is pathetic enough.

Props to PSG for the win today. That was the most entertaining L1 match I've watched all season, bar none.
As for PSG fans and OM fans bonding over their mutual hate of Lyon...somehow I dont see that lasting too long. :p

Lyon or Marseille? Who really cares! I agree it would be good for french football if someone other than Lyon wins the league, I would prefer someone other than Marseille though as it isnt likely to be us! I am however not going to lose much sleep over it, PSG is the most important thing and I want us to win every game and certainly dont want us to lose against Marseille just so that it hampers Lyons chances off winning the league!

what are you people talking about? Marseille winning?! Are you people crazy! I still love how we ********ed them up in 99 and had Bordeaux win the championship.
I would rather let Lyon win 15 titles in a row (well not really but you get my point) than have Marseille win a single one. They haven't won a single trophy in 15 years, we aren't going to let them break this streak of theirs. Besides, Lyon could win in those 15 years in a row and I still would not care about them. OM is the big fish in France, and that's who we are fighting against.
Amazing game. The best way to start a night. I don't see us fighting for the podium places, but it'll be good if we could beat Toulouse on wednesday. But for that, we'll have to play differently than against Marseille.
oh, and allow me to autoquote myself :D

and just to make my point about what OM and PSG represent to french football

Cela n'est pas passé inaperçu. Avec 2 450 000 téléspectateurs, ce match a obtenu la meilleure audience d'une rencontre de Ligue 1 depuis 2000.
sure, he's still in first place, but I bet Aulas is fuming about all the attention the game is getting.
