Congrats to T&T. I know that I speak for a lot of U.S. fans in wishing them well. Besides the fact that you rarely see a dirty play or a cynical dive from a Soca Warrior, I've had the pleasure of sitting near a T&T fan section on several occasions, and they were the nicest, friendliest group of fans I've encountered.

now tell me, when was the last time t&t beat USA?? November 19, 1994, o wow that almost 14 years. now what makes ya'll think t&T will beat USA and mess up USA's perfect run through this group??? not gonna happen buddy. Guate beats Cuba, US beats T&T.
didnt exactly happen that way now did it? I said that the warriors would beat the US and that Cuba would beat Guate and thats exactly how things turned out. The warriors again wins in a "must win" game while Guate loses again in a do or die. The more things change the more they stay tha same.;)

He's got a point. T&T has won 2 must win matches against both Mexico and the US while you guys just lost to an amatuer team.

Why are you guys giving up so easy? It's still not over. If Trinidad can beat the US, then why can't Guate. Remember 17/10/2007? Impossible is nothing ;)

dude im not tryna rub anything in. Im just responding to Chapines rock post from a few days back. To be honest, I think both Guate and the warriors should be in the hex and not El Salvador. I wouldve much rather the warriors battle wit you in the hex as opposed to the semifinal round. El Salvador got a free pass with that weak group there in. Thats just sad because youre a much more difficult opponent than they are.

no bro, ES didnt get a free pass, they just got lucky. Guate aint so lucky as ES and Costa Rica.

The difference is that T&T were at home and did it like they did against Mexico in September of '05. Guatemala is travelling to the US where they have never won in WCQ in 7 tries on US soil. Even if they were to somehow win against USA they would have to hope that T&T loses at home to Cuba and thats not going to happen either. Even a draw would be enough for the warriors to advance.

dude ES got a free pass. Haiti while they are CFU champions they arent the strongest team in CFU ( Jamaica and Trinidad are the strongest teams) and Suriname are amateurs at this level of football.
I wished Jamaica or Trinidad was in that group. They wouldve most likely topped it with ease so yes ES did get a free pass to the hex. Id even go further and state that Guate wouldve gotten by that weak group wit ease also.

If we hadn't beat Panama to be in that group, then you might be onto something. But fact is, we beat a team who many thought would be in the Hex, in only the second round. You play with the cards that you are delt; it's not our fault we were put in a "weak" group. What did you expect us to complain to FIFA and have a redraw? Come on, Free Pass, don't make me laugh.

Obviously there are differences between friendlies and WCQ, but again, last year in the friendly v Mexico, no one gave Guatemala a chance, and they pulled out the win. Fair enough, Guate have never beaten the US in the qualifers, but just cause it has never happend doesn't mean it never will.
Like they say in El Salvador "el nunca siempre llega", it's only a matter a time.

I get what your tryna say but lets be honest here. Yea you beat Panama a team i agree that most expected to return to the hex but the fact is you did get lucky with the group that you were placed in. Replace Jamaica with ES in the group of death and I dont think you would get out of that group. Same goes for the group with TRI, USA, CUBA, GUATE. You got lucky and thats all well and good. Youre off to the hex now and thats the most important thing for you. The thing is that there will be no easy games for you like there was this round.

Well I'm not blaming anyone but ourselves. I think the fact that ES-PAN had to eliminate themselves before this round is ridiculous but like Cuscatleco said, you play the hand you are dealt. I just want whoever represents Concacaf to do well this WC and yes that includes Mexico.
