Update: Beckham will join AC Milan on loan from the LA Galaxy in January, Football Italia reports. The English superstar's move to AC Milan seems to be a long time coming. In 2007 Beckham opted to join the MLS instead of donning Rossoneri colors.
Analysis: The primary reason for the move is to keep Beckham fit for international duty. England's boss Fabio Capello has stated that he will only pick players that are active to join the World Cup qualifying squad. Whatever his motivations are, Beckham will be welcomed with open arms in Milan.
