Is there any chance of FSW showing the greatest MLS game of all time that almost nobody saw? Game 2 of the Earthquakes - Galaxy game?

If FSW didn't carry the game, odds are they won't. They do usually rebroadcast some of the best EPL games of the season just completed during the summer.

Good news!
I sent FSW an email with this suggestion yesterday morning, and here's the response I got today:
Due to your interest, we will be broadcasting the San Jose vs. Los Angeles Playoff match on Friday, November 14th at 3:30 pm PT 6:30 pm ET.
Fox Sports World
That should get me jazzed for the KC match... :)

While that is good news, bare in mind that it might be a slightly condensed version, since the original broadcast (with overtime) lasted 2 hours 15 minutes, while the FSW broadcast will only be 2 hours (it starts at 6:30pm ET, and the Fire-Revolution game starts at 8:30pm ET). :(

Fantastic news!
So I miss 15 minutes, or they cut halftime out, and maybe some dead spots. That 2nd half is going to be killer!

So halftime becomes a 1 minute commercial break instead of the 15 minutes...... who cares? :)

I find it simply amazing that due to a single viewer's interest FSW is going to change their schedule and rebroadcast a game! What customer service! Perhaps if I write a letter requesting they obtain La Liga rights next year they will oblige! :)

Do you honestly think that FOX Sports World would have added this broadcast if FOX Sports Int'l had to pay MLS a rights fee?
Of course NOT.
MLS is giving away the product to FOX Sports World in exchange for TV time.

Who cares about that? More MLS on FSW is more gooder! :)

Oliver,
It was a joke.....you know a comment made to intentionally illicit a response of either laughther or appreiciation. Are you familiar with the concept of humor?

I thought it was funny. I was hoping I could send an email and they would add West Ham TV to the lineup.

There is such a thing as West Ham TV??? Wow, the tolerance for low ratings must be much higher in the UK then it is in the US. :)

Well it doesn't really exist, but I was hoping my email might provide some inspiration.
Now quit mocking the boys in Claret and Blue!

Sorry, couldn't help myself. I'm a quasi-Spurs fan so its nice to have another club to make fun of.

Well, it wasn't just any old viewer! :)
Seriously, I know a bunch of folks sent notes to FSW, and I'm impressed with their responsiveness to their viewers. Very nice to see a network so in touch with the game and the fans--and they're excited about MLS! It almost seems like their attitude is "Yeah, that's a game we'd love to see, too! Let's show that rather than the Asian Sports Show..."
I know FSW still isn't available in much of the country, and I honestly feel bad for those who are deprived. I visited DC several weeks ago and wanted to watch MLS Wrap. The hotel's sports bar had every imaginable sports channel, but alas, no FSW.
If only FSW were available more widely, I'd say ditch the mouse. If only...
