What a lifeless teamplay at times, as if this match didn't matter. Unconcentrated touches and in particular unmotivated off-the-ball movement. I'm surprised by this, I couldn't imagine the team chemistry falling apart under Schaaf.

You don`t have all the player to be honest, but you are close. With the team you currently have, you should be able to pass the group stages every single year. You need a few extra players to fight for the semi or quarter final though.

We're in a crisis but we can still recover. The only problem is that we must do twice in a row the thing we didn't achieve in the first 4 games: to win!

Wo, wo, wo, i couldn´t watch the game,
only saw the result (schocked) so can´t comment
the performance of our players.

But we nearly destroyed all our champions league campaign
yesterday. I don´t know what is going on in the heads of
the players. After the crappy October (no win) you could see
a lot of good things (fighting spirit, creativity) vs. Berlin,
but now again a horrible result.

Our players (players, not team, because this is not team)
suck this season. :mad:

It´s no saga, it´s 2 seasons: This one and the last one.
2006/07 we had Chelsea and Barca in the group, went out there
with 10 points and reached the UEFA-cup semis.
At this point the team was on its top.

What the players showed last season in CL and this season is a joke
(besides the Inter match and the Real match last year).
Some players have a bad attitude (based on the matches i watched).
TS and KA must get active and give the team near fire,
in training and with new additions.

Like i comment in other forums. If the Group not have teams like ManU,Chelsea and Barca and best is in one Group then you will see such crappy perfomances. If they have this names in one Group I promise they would went out as 1st with 12 to 15 points. And thats reality. They can only fight when its normally inpossible to win. And if they get through this group stage as 2nd, which is still possible. I hope for a ManU or Arsenal as opponent. And i would say Werder can get through still cause the players have nothing to lose. :mad:

This Werder team is incredibly inconsistant this season! They can beat any team on a good day ... but also lose to any team on a bad one.

Now it's gonna be very tough to even reach spot 3 (Famagusta is pretty strong at home) ... and that would be a real shame in this group!

Last Season we lost against Olympiacos Piraus. But we played a few years ago against Pana. And there we smashed them 5-1 and the win of Barca brought us in the eighth-final (Juventus)
