Update: Bale took an instant red card early, which led to a successful Stoke penalty kick in Tottenham's 2-1 loss to Stoke City.
Analysis: Bale absolutely deserved the red, and in a game that is as must-win as it gets, Spurs shot themselves in the foot again and had to play a man down for the majority of the game.
