I can't stand that commercial. It's so annoying.

Something just doesn't feel right about it. Is it me, or does anyone else gets the impression of derision conveyed towards the sport of soccer?

I wouldn't call it derision (although I could see how you could get that). Just annoying enough to make me turn the channel until it's over...which I'm sure is not their idea, haha.

Probably the worst ad ever.
I'm amazed someone got paid to write that script, shoot it, edit it, and that it actually made it on the air.

Who is Memo Gonzalez? I personally liked the ad which looked like a faux-Colbert greenscreen challenge.

I've seen two FIFA '09 ads (and not just on FSC). One of them was halfway decent.

The other makes my ears bleed, and has pretty much convinced me NOT to buy FIFA '09 just to make sure they don't get the idea that the ad was a good idea.
