Moved to the Newcastle forum, for the shockingly obvious reason.
Even Jermaine Jenas doesn't miss that wide.

Soccer in the USA.
Wide right indeed. I think he was just trying to be cheeky. Or at least I hope so.

Maybe it was a desperate reach for Carlos Bocanegra to join the Toons?

Toonfan your damn right about us winning the 03-04 Uefa Cup. Maybe next year the Prem eh? Great website both of them.
JAMISON - Stop making fun of Jermaine Jenas he is a quality midfielder and a bargain at £5,000,000, he just made one mistake against Chelsea thats all, you seem to have forgotten about all those goals last season that helped us into 3rd in the Premiership, you better shut up coz you don't know what your talking about.

I don't think he saw Jenas against Man Utd, that 25 yards screamer he certainly missed than coz it went passed the keeper and into the net.
and West Ham another great goal again in the top corner.
he scored a lot of goals for us last season when we made 3rd in the Prem.
he won man of the match on his England debut
so i don't know which Jermaine Jenas you have been watching coz it certainly ein't the Jermaine Jenas of Newcastle United.

Patrick Kluivert is a truely superb player and would do well for us. He would score tons of goals for us but Newcastle need more than just Kluivert when the transfer window opens in January they need more squad depth, this is how they would lineup if i was manager.
Given
Hughes
Woodgate
Konchesky
Pennant
Dyer
JJ
Robert
Super Shearer
Bellas
Kluivert

What's so desperate? He still hasn't re-signed with MLS.

I don't think your team would last 5 minutes against Man U or Arsenal. Three in defence? please Hughesy and Konchesky are full backs and Woodgate is good but not good enough to be a one man central defender. Pennent? If he was any good he'd be playing for Arsenal, dunno why you picked that second rate failure. Dyer and JJ in midfield won't work cos there is no holding player. No-one plays 3 up front because it's a waste of players. The team that Newcastle should line up with after January is
Given
Hughes
Woodgate
Bramble
Bernard
Dyer
JJ
Van Bommel
Robert
Shearer
Bellamy or if he's not fit Defoe
The player that Newcastle need more than anyone is a holding midfield player. Anyone who watches Newcastle week in week out can tell that. Speed has to do that job but it's not his natural role and he's not up to it.

Maybe that would be your team if you were defensive and why are you playing Dyer on the right when he dosn't like playing on the right, Bobby only plays him there when he can't play Bowyer and if you think Defoe is coming to Newcastle than think again coz Robson ein't interested in him he wants Larsson, Kluivert or Smith, and Bramble at the back he's a very clumsy defender at least sign someone new and as far as no holding player i think Jenas did very good as a holding player when Speed was injured, and you need support for your strikers and your gonna have Robert, Dyer and Jenas coming forward so your gonna get caught out on a counter attack. Pennant will do great on the right coz he's got a lot of pace and he can set up a ot of good chances and he can score great goals (remember leeds v chelsea) and Newcastle need someone younger than Van Bommel i know he's good but we need somebody younger like Joey Barton who plays hold mid for Man City or Scott Parker who's holding mid for Charlton and Parker will play better than Van Bommel coz he wants to get in the England first team where Van Bommel is already in Holland first team.
Basically your defence is weak, your midfield is weak and your attack is weak
but my team i got shearer and kluivet upfront with bellamy behind so shearer and kluivert make runs to seperate the defence so bellas can run through the middles and this will usually leave him free on goal and i wou;d play dyer and jenas back unless the team counters, yes konchesky and hughes are full backs thats why i'm playing them full back but the 2 can also play centre and when woody is in trouble they comeback to help him pulling back pennant and robert, when on defenceive this team will be able to form a 4-5-1 formation to out number everyone and will also mean we can create a perfect counter attack, so i don't see whats wrong with this team.

Joey Barton-Crap
Parker-Attacker
Van Bommel-World class and proven at every level
If you really belive that Bobby wats to buy Larsson or Smith then you are a fool

Ein't me thats fooled mate, every real Newcastle fan knows that Bobby is after both Larsson and Smith and thats he's been after Alan Smith for ages now and Larsson already said he would be interested in a move to the Toon.
Ok now you can sit there and argue all you want but i got more important things to do.

Are you calling me not a "real" toon fan. I go to every home and away game. And every toon fan who knows anything about football knows that Larsson is going back to Sweden in the summer, he's said he's doing that for over a year. And no-one apart from "sources" have shown any interest in Alan Smith, not that i'd want him here because he is to much of a liablity.
Also if you are going to play 3-5-3 then Robert and Pennant are probably the two worst people you can have tracking back. Have you actually watched a Newcastle game (not one on the telly) he can't head or tackle to save his life.
You really are a fool who doesn't know a thing about football.
