Great result. Now we just need some help and then get a result against a team with one eye on the playoffs.

I wish we played the whole season how we played the last half hour...

Unfortunately, Columbus has just as little motivation against RBNJ as they will against us. Although RBNJ is without their starting keeper and Parke.

Kinda funny hearing Martino calling Doe a future prolific goal scorer. Hope he's right! ;)

Great game. WHO was that team playing in the black shirts in the 2nd half? Out worked and out competed the Nevs.
Love to see a revival of the Crew v. United playoffs like the 90's...with different results!

I remember those days. The Crew were the Indiana Pacers of MLS in those days. Good enough to challenge but never a champion.

Shalrie is a girl's name...
Coaching handbook says Columbus plays their starters this week (to keep them sharp) then gives them the week off next week (to rest and avoid injury)
Gonzalo Martinez, don't buy, you won't be around long
that was just good to watch

If it weren't for you guys, I think we would have been. BTW, I'm still convinced Stern John's tying goal should have counted. :)
Anyway, great result and fightback tonight. Heart of a champion, as Rudy T. used to say.
No matter what happens the rest of this week, you guys have shot. And next weeks game means almost nothing to us, I don't know how many regular's we'll play.

Doe picked a nice game to open his DC (MLS) scoring account. I didn't see all of the first-half, but I thought I heard one of the announcers say the Emilio put one off of the crossbar early on. I hope he re-opens his scoring account against Columbus.
I think it's terrific that Shirley Joseph wants to be "Pippi Longstocking" for Halloween.

I think Shalrie was going for the Busta Rhymes look.

Emilio was on fire in the first half...one header off the crossbar, one header about 6 inches wide of the post...Reis at sea on both

I hope Janicki's hammy isn't too bad. He was having a very good match. Doe made a believer out of me tonight. Fred seems to have recovered, Santino played defense as well as offense, McTavish was good, Burch also. In fact, I thought everyone in the black kit played some of their best soccer this year.

I'm beat. I was going nuts up here all game.
Now to go harass my Revs buddy.
We need some luck, but let's see if we can't pull it out...

What an effort out of Emillio - wasn't sure how much he was going to be able to give but he put a hard nights work. SO happy to have Tino back - he really plays his ass off, just a great all around story.
Francis Doe just became Francis Buck! World class finishes, both of them, under a lot of pressure. I thought Boyzee was fantastic while he was in.
Martinez sucks. I really hope Janecki is ok, I'm really.....really high on this kid. I think he should start out right. I can't believe I'm including Peralta in my ideal back four, but I think you have to like Burch----Peralta---Janecki----Namoff as a solid backline.
How outstanding that Fred isn't actually gone for the season.
Finally, for those who watched at home (sucks) but how great to see Benny Olsen leaping off the bench. I hope he's our head coach next year....
