Robert Hatfield of The Righteous Brothers passes away at 63 (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20031106/ap_on_en_mu/obit_hatfield).
DETROIT - Bobby Hatfield, whose soaring tenor blended with partner Bill Medley's silken baritone to create the "blue-eyed soul" of the Righteous Brothers, has died in a Kalamazoo hotel, his manager said. He was 63.
Hatfield's body was discovered in his bed Wednesday evening, 30 minutes before the duo was to perform at Miller Auditorium on the Western Michigan University campus, manager David Cohen said.
Please try to avoid the "you've lost that living feeling" cheapshots. Like 'em or don't, they changed music. (Tom Cruise karaoke aside).
