Good shout on that point at least. I still think England should push Bridge in at left back and have Cole on left of midfield... that way you play to both players strengths..

would like to see sven at least experiment with it ffs~~

P.S What on earth does an opposition player have to do to get a penalty at Old Trafford????????........DISGRACE!!!!!!! I'd guess significantly more than an Arsenal player at any other EPL ground. Also, aren't you pissd about Arsenal's ridiculously disallowed goal in their 0-0 draw this weekend?

My comment was based on my opinion that Bridge is a better defender than Cole. Bridge has come on pretty well recently for Chelsea with the attacking side of his game.

This way you get the best of both worlds - still, it's a pretty shabby indictment of English football when we consider a Left-back as the answer to our problems in midfield.... Bridge is playing well, and your last comment was spot-on.

In a breath-taking display of confidence that their relationship with the FA is now totally untouchable they've even starting working the referees into their set-pieces.

In a move they must have been working on all week in training, the ref stood over the ball cleverly unsighting the Villa keeper, and then, after the ref checks that Villa weren't yet ready as they're still waiting for his whistle, he quickly gets out of the way for Henry to chip the ball into the empty net.

Then the ref proceeds to book half the Villa team for wondering why the ref isn't actually wearing a yellow shirt.

Totally brilliant.
