yes, yes, the old days of the SCP. I remember meeting IGG, Oarskee (now Gunner), Solrac9, some guy whose name started with R...footiechick, who claimed she would have a post-game party for us at the Viper Room.
But now, yes, there is the Riot Squad. But in some form, some fashion, there is the indelible footprint of the SCP.

Yea really! I mean for like two months she was totaly, and I mean totaly, gun-ho about the men in Juniper. Then... poof! Nothing. FOOTIE CHICK COME HOME PLEASE! ...I get TV a few months late over here, and I just saw an episode of Dharma and Greg that ended with Dharma playing drums with T-Bone Burnett and Bob. Have T-Bone and Bob worked together a lot? Seems like a fascinating combination. I just bet Coach or other music experts out there could provide some interesting tidbits...

Also remember the SCP. Drank some Corona out of Topper's trunk. Met Gunner in Lot K?
The SCP was the spiritual ancester of the Riot Squad. The express love of the time, the desire to meet eachother and party with those that shared a common passion, it was all there.

Back in the old days, I was part of SCP's. Now trying to make the Riot Squad. God damn, it's hard! I certainly drink enough booze.

Yeah, but they are MY bunch a' punks...and the word is PHYSICAL.
I laughed, even though I know Tony is in great shape, KC is the least carded team in MLS, and has the least fouls in the league. Apparently they are smart, veteran "punks".

Just had an interesting weekend. In the course of visiting a Korean friend's family in his hometown, I sang "Love Me Tender" to the assembled citizens at their weekend variety show in the park, was given prayer beads by a Buddhist nun, saw museums and historical sights, bathed in the local spa and went to a K-League game on the way back to Seoul. The Suwon team's supporters group numbers in the thousands, with constant chanting and singing. The crowd was enormous. May it be so in LA.
My friend's cute sister said she wanted to hang out when she comes to the big town. My friend suggested bowling. I suggested salsa dancing. Sis liked my suggestion better. EAT YOUR HEART OUT, ROKSTEDY.
