alshite and reis are on the same row in their stupid team roster front page. that turned my stomach, the ********in **********.

i really hate both those bastards--then further down its Heaps o' shit, doug "i'm such a bitch i'd go to my cousin's wedding over playing for my side" warren and the rest of the douchebag crew.

there is a lot of dudes to hate including Rob Valentino who i'm sure in another life is the bobby valentino who can't sing on the current lil' wayne song.

i really don't like New England--Marnier was a ******** his whole career and nichol is a usueless sack of shit.

******** 'em all.

Posted this line-up in the post-match from Houston, it belongs here though.

-------------------Crayton------------------
Martinez-----Peralta------Janicki-------Burch
Khumalo-----------Simms-----------Guerrero
----------------Moreno--------------------
-----------Emilio--------Quaranta----------

subs: ??? Doe,McTavish,Dyachenko,Vide,Zaher,Carroll,Cordeiro,Miller, Thompson???

As suggested, maybe Boyzz and Santino switch places to start-you pick offense for defense- I was thinking better crosses from Boyzz and better on the ball holding for Quaranta, but it's a wash with either with both Jaime and Luci supporting the attack. I think Boyzz's speed over Tino's size out wide serves us better too though, especially if he's got two Gonzalo's behind him.

Also a good idea from the post-match, get Santino some header practice before this match. I've a feeling he's gonna get lots of service if we go this way formation-wise.

i think the combo with vide and simms is more effective and i can't imagine Kumahalo giving us much out on the wing.

DC should not allow this sad collection of hacking, bore-ball thugs and their cynical, bitter English coach to knock them out of the season. Only Chicago is authorized to do that. Something very wrong happened in 2006 at RFK, and it should never happen again.

When the chips are on the line, DC should beat New Engerland.

That and any team with Albright on it should not win anything of importance.

And Reis is a punk!

Heaps, too! Oh, yeah, and K. Smith!
:D

Ugh, this is going to be a tough one. NE should still be trying, because they are still fighting with Chicago for seeding. I see this one as most recent DC-NE games: if NE scores first, uh-oh. If DC can score first, I like our chances.

Who's the ref going to be? (please, no Abby. please, no Abby. please, no Abby.)

Aargh! I just realized that I agreed to accompany the wife to a special event the night of the NE match - - something about bringing peace to the Middle East. Damn! The Middle East hasn't been at peace for decades, but our chances for a playoff berth are RIGHT NOW!

He's actually a cynical, bitter Scottish coach.

He's actually a cynical, bitter Scottish coach.

I stand corrected.

But might not folks calling him English make him even more of a cynical, bitter Scot?

If we don't score -- and score a lot IMHO -- our chances of making the playoffs are about as likely as, well, calm in the land of falafel.

I say we throw EVERYTHING at them, go for a solid win on Thursday. Jaime has a monster game to make up for getting carded, Emilio finds his way back, and maybe Boyzz. DC to win by more than one goal. Shots raining down on Reis like rain. Redemption baby...

And then we can all go out for falafel.

Do you know why a bull charges a red cape?

Actually, it's cows that charge red capes.

Bulls charge red capes because they're pissed off that you thought they were cows.

You've got 3 days to get all of the parties into a room, get them to talk each other and to sign a lasting peace agreement.

Once this is done hopefully there will be 2 accomplishments.

Do you mean to propose a 3-5-2, or a 4-4-2 with this combo?
Ok if a 3-5-2, but if a 4-4-2, you just earned us a tie, which does us no good in trying to reach the playoffs.

I'm with Dangermouse on this one. Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead for this match. Khumalo will have more space out wide to use his speed in greater space, rather than having to avoid a hack and turning up top. Plus- his bullet paced crosses are what we need coming from that side, where service so far this year has been pathetic. (see crosses from Fred, Namoff, Santino, McTavish....)

If Boyzz and Ivan can get their engines revving, getting at their flanks and getting off crosses, we just might get the fireworks we need.

By the by- how are we in National Televised matches this year?

I count 3 matches from ESPN2 on Thursdays, and we're 0-2-1 so far.

4/17 vs. Columbus L 1-2
5/08 vs. Chicago L 0-2
5/29 @ New England T 2-2

I used to have a cartoon that showed a very worn-out looking Bull with a milkmaid walking away with a pail that was captioned:
It took over an hour, but I finally got a quart out of that bitch
