Fergie:
"You saw the change in his game after that, in the second half he was marvellous. I expect strikers to score off a rebound. There's one here that lived off them for almost 10 years - Denis Law. There's nothing wrong with scoring a scrappy goal - I've scored a few myself and I've not had a striker who was different. I think Diego's a different situation, he's thriving on games and his goal was a marvellous hit, an instinctive hit. He's capable of that, we have seen him do it many times in training, and he's a threat. I took him off simply because he's played four games in a row, including extra-time against Leeds, and we have to think about Sunday. If you score every week you give the manager the problem of how do you leave him out? He scored in the three games before this, that's why he played, now it's four and he will play at Liverpool on Sunday."

With the way Liverpools playing, theres no reason we shouldn't take them apart. Don't let the results fool you, they look like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. 2-0 Manchester United.

should be a gud game. liverpool are coming off the back of a 2-1 victory...which they didnt play that well in (i think?). united left it slightly late until geting the 2nd and 3rd goal against pompey, but have just beaten rangers comprehensively. With forlan scoring 4ina row...and van nistelrooy ending his scoring drought, hopefully we can geta few goals. i predict united win!

Current form means very little in matches like these. We've won three in a row now and want to prove that it's not a fluke. Both teams will be playing out of their skins. I'm calling a draw a 2-2 draw.

OTOH, if Man Utd play like they did against Fulham... *gulp*
Ronaldo might be the key to this game. If Riise plays left back... Ronaldo can either pin him back... or they can take the chance of letting Ronaldo run amuck down the flank.

One real problem with this: Man Utd's significantly better than Liverpool. On Liverpool's day, no doubt they're a good side. But player for player, they just don't match up. I can't imagine you guys scoring twice this time. I could, however, imagine a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. Of course, I couldn't imagine Utd conceding 3 goals against Fulham, either ;).
I'd say the most likely result is 1-0 or 2-1 Utd, though.

heh... take out Butt, put in Djemba'Djemba, and that might just be Utd's best side, on form.

You guys are no fun sometimes.
We beat them last season with no Ruud goals. Why not stick it to them a bit? :D

Sticking it to them without the DutchPhenom two years in a row would be too Ruud, we as the better team should show more respect.
