Too bad that we frankly needed three.

At least Crayton definitely earned his paycheck today.

Great guts on the road against the holders of the scudetto!!!

Now, we play the Ralston-less Revs on Tuesday!

Good match from our kids! Crayton in the gloves! Jaime comes back for the last two!

We can do it! Fahrvergnugen!!! Vamos United!

Woo-Hoo! We got a point on the road!

Doesn't get much better than that. Well, at least not this season.

All things considered a good result, a win would have been huge but a tie keeps us slightly alive. I really liked the play of Janicki, where'd we get him? I think it's a good thing we didnt force Emilio out there, give him a few more days of rest. We have two games left and we need all six points. The New England game is at home and maybe we'll have Jaime and Luci back. Columbus will have nothing to play for. It's still possible....

Does DC think there is some MLS rule where we must trade active players on our own team from week to week? To the best of my knowledge there are no rules against players being healthy and not being suspended to reduce the number of available players.

Gotta love the super soft 2nd yellow (ejection) for Namoff followed by the "yeah, I screwed up that call against you" ignore of the handball...

This is one of those gut-check, hard-faught, bleed-for-your-team and stand-up-for-your-teammates kinds of results that can rally a team and get them to really come together and run off a string of results....

...y'know, if it had happened in, say, July.

San Diego has an MLS team?

Crayton gives me a heart attack, but in a good way ;)

Janicki kid may be a keeper. Well, a defender.....

Good showing all things considered. I'll take it and go scream my fool head off for a win on Thursday :D

I'm sorry. I didn't realize we were talking about soccer here.

LA-Philly anyone?

:p

I'm just glad my pants and couch aren't stained from that one.

Every YouTube has a code at the end of the URL:

To post YouTubes, simply put that bolded part between the [ youtube] [ /youtube] tags.

Greg Janicki came from the Pittsburg riverhounds and prior to that was at Michigan State. He lives in New Baltimore Michigan. Being a friend of the family I and everyone in our town is excited to see him playing so well. As you can see he’s not afraid to use his head. My bet is he will have a fresh ace bandage on it much of his career. (Though it does make him easy to track on the field).
