A win or tie for Honduras clinches passage to the Hex.
However, a loss would mean that Honduras would need a result against Mexico at home in the last match (as Jamaica is likely to beat Canada in their last match), a more dodgy proposition.
The Mexico loss last night made things a little more difficult for Honduras...

If we lose and mexico loses against Canada, then wow Mexico is at our mercy in Honduras :D

or we are at their mercy. It would be of great delight to me if could take the mexies out, but wat makes us think that in a do or die game, we will beat mexico. When historically we have failed miserably in big games.
I care more of honduras than i dislike mexico, so i just want to get a point in jamaica and get it over with.

I personally hope Jamaica wins, not because I like or dislike either team, purely due to the fact that it would set up a very interesting final day of quantifying. Go Jamaica and Canada!!

I personally hope Jamaica wins. I would like to see at least one (hopefully 2) caribbean teams in the hex as I like the different styles. I hope Mexico beats Canada, Jamaica beats Honduras (and Canada), and finally have Mexico get a good result against Honduras.

I would really enjoy a Hex with the following teams:

Mexico
Jamaica
USA
El Salvador
T & T
Costa Rica

Man that would be an exciting set of games.

U just want to get rid of Honduras, it's not going to happen you better start sweating cause this is going to be just like or close to what WQC was for 1982 So you better start praying. Regardless Honduras is going to save Mexico's ass by coming home with a minimum of a tie. Although I honestly believe Honduras can win I'm giving Jamaica the benefit of the doubt.1-1. If there are more goals then in that case Honduras will win. Either way Honduras is not going to do the same thing that Mexico has done in the past and lay down give up a loss to affect another team. You better hope Honduras doesn't lose cause you can guarantee that for the Mexican Game at home Suazo, Rambo and Leon will be available, only way they won't be called up if they win the Jamaica game. So you better start rethinking your theory cause I expect Canada to give you a tighter game then you expect.

No I actually like having diversity in these games, so I would enjoy 2 Central American teams, two Caribbean teams, and the US. I have nothing against Honduras, and I think all the teams I put are just as good competition as you guys. If you think that's an easier Hex without Honduras, well you're entitled to your opinion.

Minor point, but please explain to me please, the scenario in which Canada can end up with 6 points.

Did you watch that game common, Mexico was running around like a chicken with out a head. Honduras a lesser team then Jamaica: ur kidding me dude lets just see how many points you have after this is over. Please don't cry or get ur hopes too high, remember all we need is a tie, you have to win and the pressure is all on your side.

...In my defense

While anything is possible, especially given Honduras's jekyll & hyde nature which usually leads to self destruction, your comments are totally off base.

Mexico played horrible against Jamaica and even then Mexico had 3 more clear scoring chances than Jamaica.

We still deserved to lose and Jamaica more than earned that victory.

Mexico can lose the next two games and still qualify to the next round.

To say that we depend on you to move on is nothing short of delusional. Must've been something the Honduran press conjured up with their award winning journalists.

Kinda like taking Decio DeMaria's comments about Mexico wanting to wrap up their qualification tomorrow (to avoid bringing in the European based players) and turning them into the "Mexicans are scared of Honduras".

I thought that kind of tabloid journalism was only limited to the likes of the National Enquirer and the Sun.

Honduras is lesser than Mexico so you can understand.
