checkmate !

Hoffenheim has played a 4-3-3 so far. The last game we switched back to a 4-2-2 due to striker obasi's absent.

I think he can play against Bayern so we alle might see the usual 4-3-3.

Ibisevic is Europe's most dangerous striker these days and Salihovic is the man in the attacking midfield. His free-kicks and standard situations are one of the deadliest of the German Liga.

Captain ? Marvin Compper from the central back. Teber was the captain against Bielefeld. The side Hoffenheim played last weekend.

I wonder who the Schiri will be gestern abend??

Gestern (yesterday)

The match Bayern vs. Hoff takes place tomorrow (morgen),
or do you refer to another one?

btw: Referee at Bayern vs. Hoff is Meyer (from Burgdorf near Hannover). ;)

I think you mean "Morgen abend."

"Gestern abend" is "Yesterday evening."

But it's cool that you tried.

Florian Meyer is the referee for tomorrow night's match in Munich. He has not called any 1899 matches yet this season, but he did call Bayern's 1-0 victory in Karlsruhe on the 8th match day of the season and he called Bayern's 4-3 German Cup first round victory in Erfurt.

He has also called two Champions' League matches this season. The goalless draw between CFR Cluj (Romania) and Chelsea on 1 October and Villareal's 6-3 victory over Aalborg BK on 21 October.

Meyer is currently the third-highest rated Bundesliga referee by Kicker magazine.

No need to apologize. Again, I think it is cool that you tried that! :)

Hell, my Deutsch isn't nearly perfect either.

I did see that Erfurt gg bayern match.
The ref did a good job IMO.

I'm pretty sure that was the game were the linesman raised the flag briefly for an OS against Bayern but quickly put it back down. Bayern scored on the play. In the end it was the correct decision and the ref did a good job of diplomatically explaing to the RWE defs why it was the correct call. Bayern shot two players from midfield on to a through-ball and the one who eventually scored was not in an OS position when the pass was made.

Best of luck to the Hoff. Despite the result, I wish them the best of matches. They are an inspiration to all who love the game.

May the best team on the day win. Prost!

Good match, physical match - a tie would have been a just result, but damn that was fun to watch.

My boys ! :(

The better side lost - but we are still on top. And Schalke will suffer from today's frustration next week.

You played an impressive first half, but I don't think you were the better side after the interval. A draw would have been the fair result in my eyes ... but well, it seems you paid tribute to the inexperience of your defence (you simply can't afford such injury time blackouts against a team like Bayern).

And Schalke will suffer from today's frustration next week.

I bet you won't beat Schalke.

Greets back from the top of the Bundesliga ! :D

Our D.T pulls a (small )Mourinho,

'They scored one goal more than my boys , that's the only thing Bayern did better today.'

I think the luckier team won, not the better team. It's okay. I am over it already. The young boys have played so great and attacking this season I can't really blame them.

Nothing new. That happens in BL very often when
teams play against Bayern.

Very good showing by Hoffenheim today (also Bayern played good, nice match),
i think you won some new supporters whit the shown performance.
