Squiddy, them's serious fight'n words.

Hey, his arrival is the reason we took 4th in 2000 and made UEFA. His departure in 2003 is a contributing factor to our relegation in 2004 that year.

He was still a serious footballer then ;)

just not on a really serious team :p:)

Me, too.

He should join St.Pauli and shot them into BL 1.

Pardon my ignorance :o but....apart from Haedo-Valdez, which other cast-off Bremen strikers have we had in the past few years? Honest question.

Mohamed Zidan!

So, he went through HSV first, but he was still a cast-off Bremen striker.

Yeah, but Klopp had him at Mainz before he was at HSV. I would imagine that was the reason for him landing with you guys. Has he been that bad for you? Seems like he's score a couple of goals.

He's scored more goals in half a season than Valdez has in nearly 3 seasons ;)

Yeah, his scoring record with Dortmund is only marginally better than mine.

He went back to Bremen between Mainz and HSV. He was only on loan at Mainz.

No, he went straight to HSV from Mainz. He had originally been on loan at Mainz, but they bought him in Jan. 07 and were then relegated despite all his goals down the stretch, which forced them to sell him. In any event, Klopp knows him.

Yeah I really rate Zidan, he's a great asset if you can get him to play at his best!
