I'll change Guatemala clinching on match day 6. No other changes. :D

Mex, Usa and Hon will go to the WC with CR, T&T and El Sal fighting for the playoff spot.

ES, Hon and Mex are almost INYes, for Jam to qualify they will need to win out and one of the following:

Mex beat Hon away
Mex lose in Can and Mex-Hon not end in a tie (if the game ends in a tie, Jam will have to make up eight goals on one of these teams)

Chances ES will advance even with two loses a tie on Wed should be enough since CR is not likely to lose at home to Hai. If Hai does pull the upset, ES will need one of the following:

Two home ties (Sur & CR)
A home win over Sur
A home win over CR
A tie between Hai-Sur (at Sur)
If Hai wins over Sur, a tie and maintain a 13 goals advantage
If Sur wins over Hai, maintain a 18 goals advantage
This might be as safe as you can be without actually qualifying
the last ticket is gonna be a battle between guatemala and Trinidad and I think the trinis are gonna win itYou are probobly rightI think that this is a 50-50 call. T&T has two home games and Gua two away games. If the US wins in T&T, Gua will probably advance (their chances of winning in Cuba are 80%+). However, I think that the likely outcomes of Wed game are US tie in T&T and a Gua 2 goals win in Cuba. This will mean that if T&T beats Cuba in Nov, they will advance with a Gua loss to US or a tie if the win over Cuba is by 5+ goals (3+ more than Gua beat Cuba on Wed)

I don't see Costa Rica getting that third spot. US, Mexico and Honduras are better than they are right now. ALso Mex and Hon are mor epreapred sinc thye been playing tougher games.

Facing and beating Suriname and Haiti won't gain you anything.

But then again, this is the Hex and anything can happen. For all we know, EL Salvador could pull a 2002.

Isnīt Honduras always "better" than Costa Rica on every WCQ?
and at the end, we see the same result... honduras gets eliminated and Costa Rica goes to the world cup.... look for old posts(2004-2005) ;)

I guess in this Hex we will have: USA, CR, Mex, Honduras, ES and Trinidad and Tobago. I think Guatemala will not make it, they have 2 games abroad, and T&T 2 games at home.

One of them is against CUBA ( team is out of contention and has nothing to play for )

The other is against a young reserve team the USA will probably outfit. Unless BB is coldblooded and calls in most of the regulars. Either way Guatemala is terrible so I don't expect them to even beat Jozy,Adu,Sasha & company @ home. The most they can hope is for a draw

This group will be decided on wednesday though. If T&T can't pull of a win then they are finished and Guatemala can squeeze its way in with draws.

Canada has nothing to play for. Will they even give a fight?

Canada has nothing to play for. Will they even give a fight?

For the Mexico game on Wednesday Dwayne De Rosario was not called up, Atiba Hutchinson and Ian Hume were allowed to return to their teams in Europe.

So two of the best midfielders and a guy that comes in off the bench every game won't be there, on top of already missing Julian De Guzman to injury.

So no, Canada won't be a problem for Mexico.

with all due respects to costa rica, their claims seem more legit this time around.

Technically Cuba is still in it, if they beat Guatemala, the US beats T&T, then they beat T&T and US beats Guatemala they are through.

Of course I have a better chance of winning the lotto then of Cuba making the hex but in reality they still got something to play for.

We can begin writing out Honduras and Guatemala, and putting T&T and Jamaica in.
