I am angered by the decision not because I believe Mar del Plata is not up to the task but rather because the AAT directors and presumably the ITF decided to ignore the captain and MVP's wishes which were to play in Cordoba. It was the venue that offered the best chance: larger capacity, indoor carpet and altitude. Then, these old farts go and sell themselves out to the better appeal of Scioli's money or whatever freebie they get in return.

And don't be mistaken. I am not venting my anger because this decision affects my chances of going to the final. As long as I am able to get a ticket, I will be there. I have made a commitment of supporting this guys whenever possible and this won't be the exception. No, sir. I am infuriated because they couldn't care less about the inner country. Who the ******** are these Fred Perry-wearing gold-bricking old sags to tell us whether Cordoba has no decent transport system? Excuse me, sir, where the ******** do you live? Maybe in Zurich? No, sir, you live in the mecca of transport, the beautiful city of Buenos Aires --and I am not being phony here. No, sir, while you drive your shiny Mercedes checking the price of your shares over you encased digital LCD, people actually wanna watch tennis. They don't give a damn about the business

This is another example of federalism gone wrong. We are not a federal country by any means. We just like to have a collective orgasm to the sound of it. It's bollocks.

I hope we win the Davis Cup; Luli, David, Delpo and the rest of the team deserve it. I just don't wanna see those hypocrites anywhere near a microphone speaking wonders of how good the planning and the decision-making process were. No, man, this sucks. The whole deal sucks. It's blacker than black.

Apparently Cordoba was going to lose it regardless of Mar Del Plata, because Macri was pressing so it'd be played at Luna Park(Which being on the city of Buenos Aires would've been a bigger proof of how there's a problem with the current state of federalism), then Scioli jumped in and Mar Del Plata was picked.

Then again it seems like taboo for anyone to question the current state of federalism, like if anyone was questioning federalism itself.

So the DC final is finally upon us. Although I am still pissed they didn't bring the DC to Cordoba, it's time to get behind the guys and hope for a glorious ending to this run. I am convinced that this is the best chance Argentina will have of winning the ensaladera de plata. El rey David seems to have gotten over the issue of the choice of ground and looks in good mood and confident. Del Potro is playing awesome tennis in his breaktrhough season and carries great confidence from being the star player against Russia. I am still a little bit worried about the doubles. I wouldn't go with David. He needs to be rested since he may be in for long battles against Ferrer and Lopez.

I think we will be 2-0 up this evening but go down in the doubles tomorrow. And to make it a fitting finale for one of the finest Argentine tennis player ever, David will surely get the clincher Sunday afternoon.

I can't wait for this thing to start...

Come on Argentina!!!
