It's rinky-dink (but so was hattrick at one point). My 21-yr old stud finished third in the first stage of the Tour Romandie. My sprinter won the first sprint and picked up third in the second.
:D
What's your team name?

It's not bad. Here's a quick synopsis:
Riders have four main skills...
Flat, Mountain, Hill, Sprint
Flat is most important (Although, each race has different amounts of each terrain). A Flat skill of 3 is good for a start.
Fitness X Effort = Output
A rider with 50 fitness going 100% will yield the same as 100 fitness going 50% effort. Riders regain 20% fitness each week. There are more races than one per week.

Damn, I have been too busy with work. What do I need to do to get ready for the race?

Go to calendar, click on "tactics". Basically, pick 5 racers, pick their effort for the stage (70-100%), and pick their gear for the stage. The first stage of the Giro is a Team TT. You can click on the stage name to get info about it.
The 5 guys you pick will be the only 5 guys you can use for the Giro d'Italia. (You don't HAVE to pick 5, you can only pick 3.) And, they're all likely to be taxed physically when it is over. So, you could pick your 5 worst guys and have fun with it. Or pick your 5 best (highest "flat" skill) and try to do better.
I'm using 5 of my lower guys, because there is a smaller 3-stage tour coming up towards the end of the Giro. And, realistically, we have no chance in this long-ass Giro (5+ stages).

After a year I am finally getting the hang of this. :p
No victories, but have started this season getting some good points from sprinting and even some mountain points. I really made an upgrade with the personal as well. The ones I was given when I started were horrible.

I think I may sign back up for this. I lost track of it when I was overloaded during student-teaching.
Unfortunately, I'm still pretty big on Hattrick and that takes a lot of time. :)

I am now sensing what other teams have. When I started, I think I had one rider who could compete. Not one of my team had over 2 in terms of TT skills. I think I was given a crap team and only had 2 guys with a 3 in sprint.
I am now thinking of going with 13-15 riders instead of just 12. Milan-SanRemo is on Wednesday and I better have someone in the top 10. Hopefully top 5.:p
