From Goff's story ...

"They pull, they grab and then they look to the ref," Razov said. "And they bitch and complain to each other. We don't worry about that -- we just do our thing. . . . They think that's the only way they can stick with us."

Razov is an A $ $.

"We've got to play as if it's our last game."-Dema on the next game. Truer words have never been spoken (although that attitude could have been used in the last game).

Thanks for the links Knave.

In the quote he may be right, but if you had seen the game in person you would know what I am talking about.

He blatantly was baiting Dema all over the field. He would give him a shove or push away from the play (and of course the referee).

I found it disgusting that he pushed and shoved him for quite a bit, before the linesman saw Dema's retaliation. Dema was given the yellow. That same linesman also ignored a blatant foul on Quaranta during that runup.

Let me also mention that Razov is a good foot taller than Dema, so the intimidation factor was certainly there. I was kind of disgusted that our bigger defenders did not stand up for him a few times.

I am honored that such a highly respected poster took the time to answer my post in it's entirety.

Here is my reply.

Hristo does not intimidate anyone. He wishes he could.

You mean like Hreesto and Dema do?

Who exactly were they baiting? They might have been whining to the ref, but that is about it.

Quaranta? Is he ever going to "not suck"?

You fit right in with the hip crowd!

Ante is 6'-8" ?

I stand corrected.

He is considerably taller and bigger than Dema.

I don't think that Dema is intimidated by anyone.

Not too sure about that.

However, his short temper can be he downfall, just as Ante's can be.

And I stand corrected again

Soccer, not Rugby.

Exactly.

The series is not over yet.

Cheers!
