I didn't want to start a new thread, but I just had a question. Can anyone tell what number Jaime Moreno wore when at Boro? Thanks....

[QUOTE=Husker]Nice job on the rundown of the possible squad for next year. I'd really like to see Zenden back though for another run with the club. How well did Maccarone do on his loan last season? I'm just a casual fan of the club and really didn't hear that much about him.
As an impartial voice (though I think Boro is pretty cool), I think you guys have a lot to be excited about this year. Despite the injuries, you still made it to europe. With these guys fit plus the new additions you should make a run at the CL. Just don't take it away from us! I like the new kits without the collars also--huge improvement!

We were mainly in the Second Division when he played for us, so squad numbers weren't introduced...So I can't remember what he wore. I think he may have come off the bench a few times and donned unlucky 13. (Back then there were only three subs allowed on the bench - one being the keeper!)
He wore 19 when were in the EPL.
He's still pretty much a fans favourite over here, notably when we were waving to him at HT at Bury in December 1997! :D
"Jaime....Jaime! Give us a wave! Jaime....Jaime! Give us a wave!" He did. And we went on to win 1-0 in the second half.
Made my day that... :)

We were lucky that the young players came through and excelled at this level...
I've actually not seen the new-kits until now....

Looks as if we have taken a step from Rennes with the horizontal stripe...
Last season's were okay. A retro-chic affair. I tell ya, Ray Parlour in full flight last season looked like a young Graeme Souness.
Okay. Maybe not...

Thank you, a good friend named Andy who goes by BORO on BigSoccer sent me a real nice Middlesbrough Jersey that I had Jaime's name and (DC United #9) pressed on. I had him sign it for me and he really liked it. He said his wife would really love one (She being from Middlesbrough)
Andy sent me another jersey and I wanted to make it authentic to give to him at our next match. Thanks again..... :)

A CM is a must have in my view...
Middlesbrough should have taken a stab at signing Enzo Maresca (now at Sevilla), he's phenomenal.
That said Boro have too many forward i think looking at squad, maybe time to trim that bunch!

Full time from Portugal:
Sporting Lisbon 4-0 Boro
Boro were ********ing shite. Now you see why you need to make signings McClaren? because Ugo Ehiogu and Ray Parlour are ********ing garbage and Mendieta looks ********ed since his injury.
Boateng getting himself sent off doesnt help matters either.

4-0?
Ouch....
That's not good.
Don't worry PSG's pre-season form wasn't great, but we came back badder than Rocky and turned it around. Sporting are a good side. CL good.
We still need about 2 or 3 new faces in the side.
I agree on Ugo, he's lost alot of his mobility since coming back from injury...
