Not he best game. Awful conditions. But the result was there and we came back from 1-0 down to claw out a win. Wtf the manager was playing at half-time I'll never know....
Sporting Lisbon next round.........:D
Oh yes...........
Lisbon piss-up for me.......:D
Also Downing went off injured sencond half. Lets just pray to god thats its not serious. We can't afford another injury at this moment in time. :(

God bless the southern media. Wankers...
Boro have half the first team out = pffffffff. Its only Boro, I mean they should do fine.
Chelsea, Man U or Arsenal have 3 first teamers out = DISASTER!!!!! END OF THE WORLD!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAVE WOMEN AND CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!
ffs.....
It stinks doesn't it. We have the worst injury problems in the EPL, and are sitting in the top 6 and yet we still aren't getting credit. Imagine if had the whole squad fit for the entire season? How the hell Everton, who have no major injuries stay fit for so long is beyond me.
Okay then. I say it'll be a draw. Charlton are a good side and have no injuries (unlike us of course. )
1-1.........

Ah..........
Love it when I'm right.
Could have been spot on, if Boro had decided to take the crash course on how-to defend 101......
I thought it would be a point, but the level at which we conceding silly goals is just shocking.
Schwarzer out, would mean no back-up for Nash....no?

Aston Villa were there for the taking and what do we do? sit back and defend. Pathetic McClaren!

Awful game from what I've heard. And I'm not going to watch the highlights either.
Villa come into this on the ropes and should be nervy as hell. If we had gone out an attacked them, maybe even get an early goal, the crowd would have turned and we would have got a result.
6th place is out the window now - mainly due to crappy performances like these.
- Negative tactics
- Massive injury crisis (I'm not overplaying this either, Man Utd have 4 first-teamers out and its cue the healdine hyperbole; try having an entire starting 11 out injured!)
- Shoddy defence. (Our main strength is getting weak - we have to improve on this.)
Now all of our keepers are out injured. Looks as if they will have to get fit quick, or just hope we can get a loan deal. ffs Boro! Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.
The only thing saving us, is how the tight the league is at the minute. So we just need to keep plugging away and just hope.
pff. Hope...........I don't even believe in that any more.

Boro have serious problems now...
1st choice keeper Mark Schwarzer is injured with a tweaked knee ligiment and will be out for another week or so
2nd choice keeper Carlo Nash picked up a groin strain today and is doubtful for Lisbon
3rd choice keeper Brad Jones is out on loan to Blackpool, Boro are trying to recall him but Blackpool dont have to agree
4th choice keeper Ross Turnbull is on loan to Barnsley but is out for 2 months with a broken hand
All we have is...
David Knight - 5th choice keeper and only 18 years old. No first team experience except he's been on the bench for the first team. Reserve team experience
Dale Roberts - 6th choice 18 year old who has only had reserve experience

I say we play him at 60% or 70% fit. And just try and down play the situation.

We cant play a semi fit keeper on one of the most important nights of Boro's history.
