I know this will confirm the impression of many that I am a few fries short of a happy meal, but i have a dumb question. I had thought that the conference final was home-and-away, but based on CL's comment:
"Llamosa also said he wasn't completely sold on the new playoff format, especially the one-game conference final.``The second round should also be a home-and-away series,'' Llamosa said. ``But if we have to play like that then what are you going to do?'' ,
I guess that's not true. So the semi-final ticket the STH's got in the mail is used only if DCU beats Fire?

The Conference Finals are one-off matches played at the venue of the highest remaining seed.
Assuming the Revolution can get by Metro, the Conference Final will be played:
Fri. 11/14 in Chicago against the Fire at 8:30PM
(Fire holding the higher seed)
or
Sat. 11/15 in Foxboro against D.C. United at 4:00PM
(Revolution holding the higher seed)
The Conference Semi-Finals start this weekend, the Revs match being on the 9th. So of the STH's received a semi-final ticket, I'm assu ing that would be for the match against the Metrostars a week from this Sunday.
Right?

STH's got a ticket for playoff game #1 with the other game tickets before the season - I presume the semi-final ticket refers to Revs vs. DCU.

Jim Dow's article states that the Revs have the edge in goal - I believe it is a push. Walker has played quite well this season and his years in Chile have more that prepared him for the playoff atmosphere.
