Has anybody else been very impressed with Stéphane Sessegnon so far this season? I have to confess I hadnt seen him play that much until we signed him but I think he looks very promising. Against Nancy last night his ball through to Chantôme (who should have hit the target) was first class!

Sessègnon has definitely not been bad, though I don't know if "world class" would be befitting of him. He's definitely a very good player in L1, but he's on the smallish side, while he's good at many things, there isn't anything that stands out, I believe. In any event, a very, very strong season in Paris would do a lot to quell the skeptics.

About 2 weeks ago I read somewhere that Chelsea were gonna make a 13 M bid for him in Jan. Why does utter garbage like that get printed I have no idea.

The engish media do it all the time! The newspapers here are terrible, they link players with all the top teams, that way if they eventually get it write they can print "you heard it here first" or "as featured here"! It all comes down to the fact that there is far to much coverage of football. we have two 24hr sports news channels which pretty much cover nothing but football, so without featuring every tiny little rumour they wouldnt have anything to report! A good rule of thum is to take everything the english media say with regards to football with a pinch of salt!

Looks like he's been the best of the summer signings by far. The others have been either injured or have under performed.
