The guys should start trickling in today.
Sacha I expect just switched from a Chivas hotel to a Nats hotel after yesterdays game (he looked good)
Would be great if some guys could figure out where practice takes place and try to see what's going on. Particularly interested in any small a sided games with different particpants.

Training most likely will be at the auxiluary fields at RFK Stadium. They are usually closed to the public.

Is Szetela hurt? Ives posted this as part of his Yanks Abroad rewind:ITALY
SERIE B
* Danny Szetela did not dress in Brescia's 2-1 win vs. Frosinone on Saturday. He is out with a groin injury.

You dare to question Ives? But yes, we believe Szetela is injured, though not seriously, per a recent pre-game report in Italian (and always-reliable YA posts).

szetela at t&t would be the match he'd need to be healthy for...
a minor groin problem can be fine with 3-5 days rest....
don't use him aaginst cuba, but give him a runout in port au spain

The mysterious "groin injury" is sometimes/often expressed as a reason/excuse to avoid directly saying "we're having a look at someone else".

I think Arena used to use the AU or Georgetown facilities

And wash his hands?
Why would Arena need to wash his hands? He usually had Bob Bradley nearby to hold his johnson for him.

But to be clear, Arena never had a groin injury.

Which reminds me of the time an announcer for the Memphis Rogues said on air.." this is his first time back in the starting line-up since he suffered a groin injury shortly after getting married".....

From Goff's training notes ...
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/2008/10/usa_training_update.html
....
While the U.S. squad trained on RFK's natural grass auxiliary field, Gonzaga High School was playing a varsity game next door on the artificial turf. Students in the bleachers for the prep game peered over the fence and watched the U.S. practice, which is closed to the public this week.
....

So practice is closed to those unwilling to peer over the fence. ;)

"It was a good day. From start to finish, there was a good mentality, sharpness and competitiveness, said U.S. coach Bob Bradley. We believe that the camps add up and eventually you get to the point where, when you come in, you don't start over; you start from where you left off. More and more, that is the case."
Stay tuned for video of the action ...

Bob kind of put himself on the hook there as far as improving future performance.
I'd look for better play in quals and next years CFC against the better teams. Doesn't have to be spectacular- just steady improvement.
