I know what you mean. I really like this list. Not perfect, still want Cooper, but love the inclusions of Davies, Edu, Adu, Altidore, Torres, Szetela, and Perkins.

Great Roster!

Dallas needs Cooper, so maybe that had something to do with it.

I think this is a superb mix of young players vs. veterans. The addition of Torres is a pleasant surprise. Lewis is a noteable absence, which is fine by most here, I would think.

-------------Altidore
----------Donovan
Beasley---Kljestan----Bradley----Dempsey
Pearce----Boca------Gooch-----Dolo
------------Howard----------

Subs:
Adu (Dempsey, move LD to right wing)
Torres (Beas)
Edu (Kljestan or Bradley)

I love the roster! Only complaints I have is Cooper for Ching, Holden and Rogers deserve a chance and maybe a few newer defenders. But I absolutely love over half of these callups I hope some of these younger players really get a chance to show their stuff!

I was thrilled to jump on to usssoccer.com this morning and see this roster.
Now all I need is for my Altidore jersey to ship here before next saturday.

The inclusion of Troy Perkins suggests to me that any mid-level MLS player who wants to play for the National Team needs to get to Europe. Who would've picked Perkins if he were still at DC? He'd be behind Reis, e.g. Cooper must get to Europe and play if he wants to be part of this team.

Possible. Or it might have to do with some talk in Norway about getting Perkins citizenship so that he could play for them.

He's had a good season, and probably deserves a look (And at least it wasn't Cervi as the 3rd GK:cool:).

Looks like BB finally listen to BS posters.

A lot of pleasant young faces, however with so much players called up, some youngsters might not see the pitch at all.

This could be the case, however it could also be that BB didn't want to take a keeper from an MLS side knowing that keeper won't play, in all likelihood.

He may have just wanted to get qualified to the HEX as soon as possible so he could play around with the roster...

there might be a method to his madness here.

Dallas really needs Cooper right now, they have a game on the 11th against Toronto FC and are desperately fighting for a playoff spot. I hope we get to see him for the last two group games, but who knows with the MLS schedule...

Otherwise I'm very happy with the roster, especially with Adu, Altidore, and Davies. Also excited to see Torres. I hven't had a chance to see him play yet, so I look forward to seeing what he can do.

Of course NYRB and RSL play on Thursday, freeing up Conway and Rimondo, and Seitz probably would be free regardless.

All I can say it's great to see Adu, Altidore, Davies, Orozco, Szetela, and Torres and great not to see Johnson until his form increases. But bad not to see Cooper. Seriously, what is the deal? I can't bitch too much because I like the selections I'm just somewhat disappointed not to see Cooper.

I give the roster an A-

So I like it..kudos to Bob.

I am most excited about Charlie Davies.

Adding Cooper, Rogers, and Holden (maybe) would have made it an A

Bradley s$^t on Rogers again. Glad to see Altidore and Adu in the mix. They aren't getting any playing time in Europe so this allows them to get some PT in.
