Hi forum,
Well i thought it was only fair to let you know that I left Packer Leather to take up the position of Head of Research for Grip Technology AG, which is a company that is feeding certain sports brands, including Nomis, new ideas and technologies for sports sectors, in particular the soccer market. We have some cool stuff in development and hope to have it available for commercialisation soon, with one to be launched imminently that hopefully will be well received. So the next time you see new stuff from Nomis, it'll be from our innovation stables. I'd be happy to receive PM's from you guys on certain aspects features you would like to see or have changed, and I can look in to them. :D
Best wishes,
Dr Leather

How do you get a job like that? Does it require some sort of degree?

Yes, it does. A master's in Leather, therefore making him "Dr. Leather".

Actually being a doctor would require a Doctorate.

Seriously, was it necessary to point that out? Haha. I'm still in high school, cut me some slack.

Google is amazing.
Dr. Leather got his degree from the University of Northampton and the British School of Leather Technology.

Yes it's true that you require a PhD to gain the real title of Doctor. But in truth the name Dr Leather came from a leather based software company I ran with a couple f other guys back in 2002, and the name has just stuck. Besides a PhD takes a very long time to complete, and honestly a lot of guys I have met with PhD's are only specialised in one micro-aspect of an industry. I'm happy with my qualifications - and as Its Swanny has shown you can easily find me :D
Cheers,
Dr Leather

Hi Dr. Leather. What is PUMA LITE leather? I just bought some puma king indoor shoes and can not find anyone at PUMA to tell me if it is a synthetic or a hide (kangaroo or other). Do you know?
