I've been reading a lot of reports over the past couple of days stating that we've been heavily scouting Wimbledon.

We've been over there a lot in the past 12 months. Even though their club isn't doing so well, they've got some fantastic young players.

Jobi McAnuff is the one we're currently being linked to, but I'm not sure why, other than if they feel he's too good an opportunity to pass up because of Wimbledon's financial problems:

But Lionel Morgan is the player we were chasing the most over the past year:

And Nigel Reo-Coker is the one I really wish we would sign in January. He's a great talent, a genuine box-to-box midfield player and I think we could beat Harry Redknapp for him if we can scrape together enough pennies to make a deal.

Morgan is injury ridden at the moment.

McAnuff is a good player.

Reo-Coker is their club captain. Unlikely to leave.

Portsmouth had a 1 million pound move lined up for Reo-Coker in the summer, but it fell down because the potential owner wouldn't let the administrators sell him.

But at the moment the administrators have started to lose faith in that owner. He's not delivering with the money and taking control. So in january a good sized bid might prise him away.

Did you see Reo-Coker's goal against Bradford last week? Absolute blinder, I would love for us to sign him, but I can understand it if that proves impossible.

You're right about Morgan's injury problems, but he's an outstanding talent, so hopefully if he gets fit we can still pick him up.
