Update: Cooper's 15th goal of the season in second-half extra time just sunk the knife deeper into a struggling D.C United side as FC Dallas downed them 3-0 on Sunday.
Analysis: It's a mess for the final two playoff spots. Six, maybe seven teams have viable chances to grab those spots in closing weeks. FC Dallas is in form and should be thought of as a leader of the pack of those squads.
