1-0 Inter (Maicon)
Short distance shot against the head of a Werder defender,
ball bounced to Maicon (no offside, because deflected shot),
who was free infront of Wiese and made it.

Maicon scores. What happened?
They were so busy worrying about pulling up for the onside trap (on Adriano) that Maicon just ran by Per

Terrible mistake from Baumann.
Conceding an early goal, is the worst thing that can happen when you play a Mourinho team.

This Uefa ticker sucks, what's going on? It appears we're getting killed out there...help us out with a half-time report someone.

I just thought an explaination would be good. ;)
About the match: the team tries, but the players are total insecure.
Inter is deep in their own half, waits for mistakes
(that occur a lot) and then counters dangerously.

Maybe if Ozil gets more involved Werder can get the equalizer.....they have controlled posession and other than the one mistake, Inter have only threatened one other time

Halftime: Deserved 1-0 for Inter (could have been higher).
This was 40 minutes nothing, the last 5 minutes were good by Werder.
I am a bit dispointed by the team (tried to many trough the center
and lost the ball too often against Inter, furthermore horrible passing and ball control mistakes by us), Lubos Michel (no huge mistake,
but he judged all critical scenes for Inter;
well not as bad as last time at Inter when he showed Ismael red after
5 minutes for nothing, just because we were the away team)
and the pitch (worse than the one of Cottbus, showed the technical deficits of some of our players).
For second half:
Attacks must be played not only throuht the center,
but also on the wings, like at the Pizzarro post shot scene.
Especially Prödl must do it, he has defensive problems with Adriano,
but in offense he is better than Adriano in defense
(world class pure offense player, but district league defender).

Bring on Boenisch for Panasen. He supports Ozil better
Then sacrifice Baumann, move Frings back to DM and bring in another in attack.
Inter are content to sit on the lead

That should have been a goal. Pretty careless from Pizzarro ... since you surely won't get many top chances tonight.
This first half was exactly the game I expected after your early 0:1 lag. Werder has more ball possession and offensive power, but barely manages to create any opportunities against a team that often defends with 10 players even in the own stadium and is looking for the decisive counter...
C'mon Werder, you simply have to win at least 1 point tonight!
Halftime: Deserved 1-0 for Inter (could have been higher).
Don't think so.
Attacks must be played not only throuht the center,
but also on the wings
That's your only chance against their defence.

Milan's Balotelli appears to be having a major role in this match.
52 minutes, has Clemens Fritz been warming up or Jensen?
It's 58 minutes they will sub soon...Baumann for Vranjes?
PIZZA!PIZZA!PIZZA! GGGGGGOOOOAL! 62 minutes. Ozil witht the assist.
68 min: Frings, Baumann, Diego have cards. Frings is the only one without a shot on net.
72 min Sh*t! Here comes Quaresma...
