Anyone know who has the U.S. rights to the English League (Carling) Cup? I know Setanta has had it recently but looking at their schedule I didn't see it mentioned.

Any chance of FSW picking up the Sky telecasts?

I would expect that Setanta has the rights. The League Cup probably does not draw enough interest to justify FSW spending the money to acquire the rights. Setanta is probably waiting until the THIRD ROUND, when the EPL teams that made Europe (not sure if that's Champions League only) join the competition. Early rounds wouldn't attract enough of an audience to be viable financially.

FSW showed some of the later round matches last year, didn't they?

Actually, they haven't shown any league cup games since Liverpool beat Birmingham City in the final of 2001.

Still haven't seen it mentioned on Setanta's site, so if they have it they don't seem to be telling anyone, unless they're not covering this round due to the Rugby World Cup.

FSW didn't have the League Cup last year but did (and presumably still does) have FA Cup replays. So be sure to root for a draw in every round!
