I think that reforma is the nation wide version of a newspaper in Monterrey, "El Norte", so that would be a right choice then.

ONLINE PUBLICATIONS:
Reforma (DF), Mural (Guadalajara), Norte (Monterrey) (www.mural.com,www.elnorte.com,www.mural.com)all shared the same database. The local section for each city was different from the three. unfortunately, you have to pay for Norte and Reforma. I see Mural doing the same in the near future.
El Universal (www.el-universal.com.mx). based in Mexico is a good choice. I like their up to date news.
La Jornana (www.jornada.unam.mx) is also a circulated paper that I read online. I like their columns.
Esto (www.esto.com.mx) is a great sports paper. I read thier online publications everyday. They also have great historical fact databases. (they have links to other national pulications that pertain to them as well.
Grupo Milenio (www.milenio.com) share publications from newspapers in DF, Tampico, Guadaljara, Monterrey, Torreon, Veracruz, & Tabasco. Thier sport section that lead to La Aficion is also very good. Good columns, good reports, good stats.
ONLINE WEBSITES:
ww.mundosoccer.com is probably the most user friendly website covering Mexico's league and national team. It has stats for league and natiuonal team. They also have stats for every major tournament in the world.
www.mediotiempo.com is also very user friendly and has tons of stats, rosters, columns othat pertain to the Mexican League. You can get live updated scores as each game is played every week.
www.terra.com.mx has a nice sports section. online radio feeds to games being played. Cool articles and comics
www.esmas.com also has good stats and columns and it pertains to Grupo Televisa.
www.todito.com has good stats and columns. This site pertains to Grupo TV Azteca.
for the most part, it all depends what I am in the mood for. If i need stats I go to certain sites. If I just want to read reviews and columns, i go to other sites. If i want to read updates news, i use other sites.
I also read online papers for different cities i am interested in. When something is going on that interest me, i just find an online publication that pertains to that city or region (whether it be EL Sol de Tampico or Record)
El Universal (www.el-universal.com.mx). based in Mexico is a good choice. I like their up to date news.
