Hello all - I'll be visiting London, and hopefully Highbury, in late March and was wondering if anyone could provide advice on which seats/areas to seek and/or avoid? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

There is only one game at Highbury at the end of March which is on Sunday 23rd March against Everton. The tickets for this were sold out a long time ago should you be hoping to obtain some via the club.
The best place for atmosphere to sit is in the North Bank, either Upper or Lower tier. Probably more atmosphere "downstairs" but a better view "up top".
The Clock End is also good for atmosphere but not so good viewing. Anywhere in the uppers tiers in either the West or East stand is also good, preferbly close to the half way line. No areas not worth being in!
If you don't have tickets and are looking for some then try the supporters club situated about 300 yards along from Arsenal tub station at the corner of St. Thomas' Road and Gillespie Road. There genuine fans will sell spare tickets at the correct price. Get there at least an hour before kick off and certainly hang around until about 5 minutes to go. Hope you are lucky!

if you are going via touts try and avoid buying in the east and west lower right at the back. rows 27 and up in the east and i'd say row 40 in the west its like watching the game through a letterbox.

the north bank is fine view wise from any position any preferences should be only decided like jeff says if you want either atmosphere or a better view. clock is ok if your row 10 or further back.

if you go in the east or west upper thats usually where the "quieter" fans are so no atmosphere there.

if leeds turns out to be a game where we win the league expect the prices to go through the roof (£300+) same with southampton which will almost certinly get moved due to both teams still being in the fa cup.

if your prepared to it might be worth trying to obtain tickets for sunderland away if the game is meaningless. fly to heathrow and then up to newcastle - sunderland is only £2 by train from newcastle.

I am going to London on Thursday for the week and I wanted to know if there were any matches this coming week that I could possibly get tickets for. Not neccessarily Arsenal, but any team in the London area. I just want to see some good English football my first time in England.

"B.W. McTELL": You won't get to see "good English football" in the London area anywhere other than Highbury! Jeff.

Jeff is fantastic-got us terrific seats on the North Bank Lower, right behind the goal with Fabulous sight lines. Yeah they were for Leeds(enough said) but what an experience. NO ONE can take THAT away. Back tonight for Southampton and a win to close Highbury for the year in style-Thanks for everything, Jeff-check your e-mail and I'll talk to you soon. Thanks!!!!!!
